This individual will evaluate genetic data to determine genotype-phenotype correlations and develop methodology to identify novel disease-causing loci. Our marketing team is looking for a curious, energetic Marketing Intern to jump in and help us make some noise! From planning projects to creating content and assisting with internal initiatives, you'll get hands-on experience in every corner of the marketing world. Responsibilities * Engage with team members across the organization to gather exciting content for internal and external platforms * Gather, create, proof, and help deliver content for the monthly employee newsletter * Assist in recording and editing short-form videos for internal and external platforms * Assist with internal initiatives, projects, and presentations * Coordinate projects, keep timelines on track, and help brainstorm fresh, creative ideas with the team * Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on new marketing strategies * Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Expertise for this Role * Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field * Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail * Creative, collaborative, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting * Natural curiosity and willingness to seek out stories * Some experience in recording and/or editing video is preferred Location Individuals must be in Sioux Falls, SD - Sioux Center, IA Travel Travel may be required up to 15% depending on business needs

Overview The Marketing Intern will assist in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions for various types of events. The marketing intern will support the Iowa Events Center digital and grassroots footprint inclusive of social media, website, digital assets, email, and more. This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00 This position will remain open until December 31, 2025. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing event marketing plans and promotions for various types of events. Assist the Digital Marketing Coordinator in social media management and content creation for the Iowa Events Center and Casey's Center Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Execute marketing efforts for upcoming events, including creating promotional material and coordinating with partners. Analyze marketing data to track campaign performance and identify areas of improvement. Participate in weekly meetings to discuss artist and fan engagement during events. Perform a variety of event day responsibilities within the marketing department. Key Learnings: Hands-on experience in the fast-paced live event and hospitality industry Exposure to print and digital advertising A greater understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and how each program is used in a professional work environment Skills in social media and digital content creation Growth in leadership, problem-solving, project management, and communication through real-world projects Qualifications College student majoring in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Sports and Recreation Management, Hospitality, or related field of study. Working knowledge of programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. A desire to work in the entertainment, hospitality, or sports industry. Strong attention to detail, a 'can-do' attitude, and a desire to learn. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
