About the Lab:
The Mann lab investigates molecular drivers of metastasis using pancreatic cancer as a model. We study how RNA splicing deregulation during cancer progression impacts cell behavior and tumor growth. We are recruiting a full-time Research Associate II (Research Technician) to join our collaborative research team in Molecular Oncology. We are looking for an individual excited to tackle complex problems in cancer biology using inter-disciplinary approaches to identify new diagnostic markers and therapeutic targets to better treat cancer patients with advanced cancers.
Position Highlights:
* The Research Associate II performs work under the direction of the Principal Investigator or higher-level laboratory personnel

Ph.D. degree in immunology, microbiology, or related life sciences discipline from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Our hospital is equipped with all the equipment you need to be successful. Including a full-service ICU (fitted with 2 Oxygen Cages), in-house laboratory, two surgery suites, a chemotherapy suite, digital radiography, telemetry, ultrasonography (with three ultrasound machines on site), a newly purchased endoscopy tower with a variety of rigid and flexible endoscopes, and capabilities for interventional endoscopy such as tracheal and urethral stent placement, bladder stone basket retrieval, urethral collagen injections and more!
Additionally, our hospital is currently undergoing renovations to update and expand several specialty services.

Program Overview:
The Corporate Recruiter Internship (SkillBridge) is a dynamic opportunity to gain valuable experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, and staffing within a corporate environment. As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment efforts for our partner brands, ensuring headcount needs are met across the Legacy Service Partners' platform. You will collaborate with LSP's Talent Acquisition team to help build a pipeline of candidates, conduct initial interviews, and assist with the selection and onboarding of new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Pipeline Development: Develop a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for open positions within the assigned region(s).
Interviewing & Screening: Conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit for specific roles.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, provide recruitment updates, and assist in the interview and selection process.
Onboarding & New Hire Support: Collaborate with partner brand and other relevant teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for selected candidates, including preparing offer letters, gathering necessary documentation, and coordinating orientations.
