Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provides guidance, expertise, and solutions related to available system options for build requests throughout all phases of the project development cycle.
2. Works closely with client management, clinical end users, operations, and leadership to identify and specify the complex business needs and processes for diverse development of workflows within the EHR as it applies to Research.
3. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for the systems design.
4. Performs analysis and system design. May code new or modified programs, reuse existing code with program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions.
5. Documents, tests, implements, and provides on-going support for the applications.
6. Provides highly technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies that assist the functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives.
7. Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process.
8. Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $25.00 - $28.00 hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In this role, the successful Research Data Associate will support several projects relating to the impact that environmental factors have on children's health and development. This positions will support a growing program of work assisting mainly with day-to-day research activities and data collection.
Job Responsibilities:
Obtain informed consent from study participants and carefully follow study protocols and scripts.
Communicate with research participants including but not limited to: scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointments.
Collect biospecimen samples from research participants and safely transport the samples to the lab.
Obtain diet clinical data including: body measurements, DXA scans, and blood pressure measurements.
Administer additional study assessments like diet/physical activity questionnaires, chart abstraction, cord blood and delivery/postnatal EHR extraction, as well as anthropometric measurements.
Conduct follow-up calls with participants to ensure accurate data collection and assist with questionnaire data collection. Keep records of all interactions in our call center database in a comprehensible way.
Complete all necessary paperwork and data documentation, including but not limited to data collection, and documentation of specimen delivery and participant incentives.
Perform data entry and database management activities.
Support the study including but not limited to: creating electronic study forms, cleaning data, and generating reports to be used for participant scheduling and follow-up.
Ensure adequate stocking of supplies and report needs to supervisor.
Maintain a positive and accommodating relationship with study team and participants.
Evening and weekend hours and some travel required.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication skills.

As a Research Aide, you are a part of a vital team working with growing children. As a part of that team, you will be guided by our staff both inside and outside the classroom. Your assistance is important to assure that the daily plans and routines are developmentally appropriate for every child in your care.
As Business Management majors, this experience will allow you to learn how to work with others, manage multiple responsibilities, what it means to be a non-profit business and so much more. For our Health Science or Biology majors, handling children that are well, sick or jnjured is all part of this job. For those in Science and Technology, you will gain experience towards your major by assisting teachers with children's exploration both inside and outside the classroom with science lessons as well assisting with the use of our app, Instagram and various technology devices in our center as well as caring for children. For Professional Communications majors, you will gain a lot of experience communicating with parents, coworkers and supervisors in this position. For our Applied Psychology majors, you will gain experience towards your goal of being an educator.
Some of the duties of a Research Aide include:
* Light cleaning of floors and tables after food is served
* Assistance in hand washing of children
* Constant supervision of children both inside and outside of the building
* Assuring that all OCFS guidelines are complied with in the classroom in regards to cleanliness at all times
* Updating families on the BrightWheel app about their child's day
* Change diapers/clothes when needed
* Assist in nap time protocol
* Assist in preparing for daily activities planned by the teacher
* Communicating with parents, coworkers and supervisors
* Close out the room upon leaving for the day
* On occasion, leading the room in the absence of the lead teacher
* Providing a role model for Work Study students and Interns
* Reporting accidents and incidents in a timely manner
* Caring for an ill or hurt child
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current Farmingdale State College undergraduate student.
* High School diploma.
* One year of experience working with children under the age of 13.

**Your role and responsibilities**
In this role, you will join a world-class team of engineers and researchers and contribute to the development of innovative integrated circuits implemented in deep submicron CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) technologies. We focus on innovative circuit designs for a range of emering applications such as AI accelaration, high-speed communications, and chiplet-based integration approaches, among others. Specific responsibilities include:
* Collaborate on architecture/system-level development. This will involve the analysis of trade-offs using system simulations and/or software and may also involve the analysis of measured data from existing/prior ICs
* Peform design and/or synthesis of digital and/or mixed-signal circuit building blocks to meet a set of specfications
* Perform co-simulation and verification of the designed circuits and sub-systems
* Support physical design/synthesis and post-layout verification
* Document design concept, simulation, and verification results
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Have experience with relevant industry-standard IC-development tools such as Cadence
* Have experience with design using deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
* Possess a track record of success in completing complex mixed-signal and/or digital IC designs
* Successfully create and communicate technical ideas
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Knowledge of AI-accelertor architectures
* Knowledge of chiplet-based system implementation approaches and their assosciated communication interfaces
* Applied knowledge of standard-cell digital design, custom digital design, and/or mixed-signal design for high-speed communications
* Knowledge of common programming languages such as Python
