Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.

Stage completed pallets in designated areas.

Job Description
The Free the Slaves internship program is a formal effort to develop and train future leaders of the anti-slavery movement. We seek to provide each participant with training and hands-on experience in various facets of anti-slavery programming. We encourage students to arrange academic credit as Free the Slaves internships offer direct exposure to the workings of an international human rights organization and close supervision by FTS staff. This position reports directly to the Research Program Coordinator, based in Washington, D.C. The Research Intern will support programming in the Middle East and North Africa region through research. As part of IAVA's policy department, the research team researches the diverse array of issues confronting the newest generation of veterans and offers public policy solutions to these challenges. The team ensures that IAVA always has the best and most meaningful data about Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. It serves as an internal research service while also producing issue reports, blog posts and other analysis of the issues facing today's veterans. ABOUT THE POSITION:
IHEP is seeking a research intern to join our team remotely for the 2026 spring semester (January - May 2026). The research team focuses on federal, state, and institutional policies related to racial and socioeconomic equity; postsecondary data and transparency; college access, affordability, success, and value; and projects that further the practical application of promising practices that drive postsecondary attainment, particularly for Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and underserved Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) students and students from low-income backgrounds. In this role, interns are likely to participate in team and staff meetings, perform literature reviews, participate in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, summarize information from postsecondary-themed events, external meetings, and/or new research studies, support the development of research and policy reports, blogs as well as advocacy materials/efforts on topics such as postsecondary data, college completion and affordability, and support the preparation of convenings.
