This position researches public real estate records to produce an Abstract of Title, a Title Certificate, or other title report. Provide title evidence to examiners, attorneys or outside title company to facilitate real estate closings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Prioritize orders based on closing date. Acquire documents at district court, bankruptcy court and other appropriate sources. Research real estate records, title problems and legal descriptions. Transcribe/copy pertinent information into a format usable for processing, examining and closing personnel. May provide verbal updates prior to closing. (50-60%)
Search names, obtain tax information, obtain documents and verify effective dates and tract index information. (20-30%)
Produce an abstract or title product according to prescribed rules and procedures and ensure the product is delivered to the client in a timely manner.
Provide customer service and problem-solving to all other departments and answer all inquiries regarding title searches. Respond to questions and requests from examiners, closers, attorneys, lenders and real estate agents. (10-20%)
Assist as needed in the clerical production of abstracts/commitments/recording of documents. May assemble final form abstracts/commitments/title certificates and prepare for delivery. (0-10%)

You will:
Provide the intern the opportunity of being exposed to the Seed Parent Characterization activities, allowing him/her to apply academic background and assist in the department activities from trial design, preparation, maintenance, harvesting, lab tasks, and data analysis
Develop a good understanding about new corn hybrid development, and parent characterization activities, by taking a lead role for one of the Seed Parent Characterization's locations
Strengthen new product advancements through the assessment of important traits for seeds production
Take the lead on the project management and execution according to the assigned project. Assure that field activities (planting, plot maintenance, and harvest) for research plots are executed. This includes routine site/farm maintenance activities such as planting plots, applying treatments, collecting observations and in-season data, and maintaining the plots throughout the growing season.
Support other Seed Parent Characterization, as well as agronomic trial activities
Develop and maintain two-way communication with project managers, Seed Production Research (SPR) Scientists, Agronomists and Parent Seed colleagues. Additionally, look for communicating with people from different areas, from breeding all the way to commercial seeds production, aiming to gain a good understanding of the whole chain
Assist with managing and developing part time workers
Analyze data and prepare a report and presentation for the assigned project
Make sure all activities are developed according to the Company safety procedures and recommendations, and promote environmentally sustainable solutions

Job Description
OBJECTIVE: 12-week internship with exposure to Pipestone and all it entails- frequent travel to different Pipestone locations required. The FarmStats records intern will assist Account Specialists with managing and analyzing records and data for wean to finish pork producers. Communication with field supervisors and veterinarians to effectively support all aspects of daily pork production is also required.
Internship will take place between May-August 2026
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned)
Understand Pipestone and all it entails
Work directly with swine producers to provide accurate and timely pork production records and industry expertise.
Expand and foster existing clientele and relationships.
Provide great attention to detail and data integrity.
Understand the basics of nutrition, feed budgets, and livestock production.
Communicate effectively and professionally with swine producers, feed mills and nutritionists.
Continually fill in as needed; multi-tasking will be required routinely
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education:
In pursuit of 2 or 4-year degree helpful but not required
Experience:
Microsoft Excel and/or Access.
Prior customer service experience and a livestock background will be helpful, but not required.
Work Environment:
80% office 20% farm.
Agricultural swine environment in rural area.
Noise levels that require hearing protection in some areas.
Gestation, farrowing, and small swine care processes.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking and ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day
Frequent bending, reaching, squatting and kneeling
Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull
Frequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 pounds
Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, or requiring up to 50 pounds of force to move
Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds or requiring up to 100 pounds of force to move with the assistance of another person as needed
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to attend and participate in meetings of various lengths
Additional Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work/meetings
Must be willing to attend early morning or evening meetings as needed.
Must be willing to travel overnight to other Pipestone locations periodically.
