Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Research & Development Specialist who will serve as the primary driver of product innovation within our bakery operations (clean label). Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Sales/Marketing and Innovation Engineering to develop new products, from concept phase through successful commercialization.
Conduct plant trials and new product start-ups, including full-scale production on any product innovation and renovation project. Provide support to the plant when challenges arise.
Comfortable and skilled at customer-facing communication. Specifically with R&D, Culinary, and QA teams.
Conceptualize and develop new product prototypes.
Maintain recipes, SOPs for batching, and ingredients in the company's systems. This includes generating Nutrition Facts Panels and ingredient statements.
Working with procurement in identifying and sourcing ingredients from vendors that follow established marketing guidance and quality assurance standards for use within the product portfolio.
Liaison with corporate resources on verification of new suppliers and raw materials, as well as the feasibility of new products under development.
Coordinate and conduct both internal and external shelf-life studies.
Initiate and assist in managing all product formulation change management control by issuing approved recipes, communicating changes, and approving BOM's.
Management of product development schedules that are required to meet project timelines.
Communicate effectively with all partners throughout the development process to ensure timely and budget-friendly development.
Work with finance to develop strawman costs to adhere to guidelines early in the development cycle.
Participate in co-manufacture or third-party product development when required.
Lead efforts to consolidate like raw materials while maintaining product integrity and optimizing formulations.
Responsible for helping review formulas and looking for cost savings opportunities while maintaining safety and product performance, which could include finding substitute ingredients.
Find and evaluate new technologies to keep our portfolio current with emerging trends.

The high-energy physics group at the Department of Physics & Astronomy (PA) at Michigan State University (MSU) is seeking to hire a postdoctoral research associate to work on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.
The MSU group on ATLAS is active in the Phase II trigger upgrades as well as the tile calorimeter and muon detector upgrades. The physics activities of the group cover a broad range of signatures (leptons, bosons, top and bottom quarks) searching for new physics beyond the Standard Model. The group is also involved with precision measurements (Higgs, High-Mass Drell-Yan) and constraining PDF theory uncertainties.
The MSU group is also highly active in ATLAS operations and upgrades, with notable contributions the Level-1 Calorimeter Trigger, Level-0 Global Trigger, sMDT muon detector system, and Tile Calorimeter. Postdocs with the group have the opportunity to make strong impacts on these important aspects of the ATLAS experiment.
The group is always open to new directions that postdoctoral research associates are interested in. The Forensic Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship at Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System is offered through the Forensic Neuropsychiatry division of the Tulane Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The goal of the fellowship is to enhance and broaden the fellow's forensic assessment skills. Under supervision, fellows will conduct forensic evaluations at an inpatient forensic hospital (Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System - ELMHS) and in private cases. Fellows will perform a wide variety of forensic mental health assessments with forensic patients, incarcerated individuals, as well as those in the community.
A wide range of evaluations are requested at the ELMHS forensic state hospital and include: competency to stand trial (CST) evaluations, evaluations for malingering, psychodiagnostic clarification, intellectual and cognitive evaluations, and violence risk evaluations. Evaluees are justice-involved individuals who have been adjudicated not guilty by reason of insanity (NGRI) or deemed incompetent to stand trial by the court. Fellows will be responsible for selecting, administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests with the goal of writing high-quality integrated forensic reports.
Additional forensic assessment opportunities are available through conducting private evaluations in person in the greater New Orleans area and as a remote evaluator. The scope of evaluation questions are broad and come from referrals from attorneys, courts, and medico-legal professionals. Typical forensic cases will encompass both criminal and civil areas, although the majority of referrals are for criminal evaluations. Referrals include competency to stand trial evaluations, violence risk assessments, mitigation/resentencing evaluations, and trauma and PTSD evaluations in both federal and state court. A large portion of case referrals are for criminal responsibility evaluations.
Fellows will also have the opportunity to participate in administrative and clinical meetings, conduct forensic research, and when possible, supervise other trainees under the umbrella supervision of a licensed psychologist. Fellows will attend forensic training seminars and scheduled didactics, including landmark case seminars and expert witness seminars. The forensic fellow is responsible for leading the ACGME-required Forensic Journal Club/Research Seminar. Participation in the annual mock trial conducted jointly with the Tulane Law Clinic and the Tulane Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship is expected. Additionally, opportunities to observe a board-certified psychologist testify and receive supervision on report writing for court and discussion of expert witness skills is a frequent activity.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Data & Research Associate will support the organization's efforts to develop, collect, manage, analyze, and report data that demonstrates program outcomes, the organization's goals and informs decision-making. The Research Associate will to conduct rigorous and timely policy research and analyses to support the work of the Postsecondary Education & Economics Research (PEER) Center. There is no teaching associated with this position. This is a term faculty, non-tenure track position with the rank of Research Assistant Professor and the title of Research Associate. The salary for this position will be wholly generated through externally funded research activities.
