These positions will work closely with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)'s cross-organizational Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) team to review, validate, and document approaches enabling revolutionary advances in design, engineering, testing, and evaluation in the domain of fault-tolerant quantum computing and exploring computational workflows that include quantum computing procedures. Position Details Salary Range: $75,000-$150,000 annually. The QBI team is responsible for generating and executing plans to assess the timeline, performance and operation metrics, and plausibility of each Performer's technology. Candidates will verify a Performer's ability to build a USQC that operates as intended, and they will document, report, and justify the findings. Typical work can be divided into three categories: 1. The Forensic Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship at Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System is offered through the Forensic Neuropsychiatry division of the Tulane Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The goal of the fellowship is to enhance and broaden the fellow's forensic assessment skills. Under supervision, fellows will conduct forensic evaluations at an inpatient forensic hospital (Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System - ELMHS) and in private cases. Fellows will perform a wide variety of forensic mental health assessments with forensic patients, incarcerated individuals, as well as those in the community. A wide range of evaluations are requested at the ELMHS forensic state hospital and include: competency to stand trial (CST) evaluations, evaluations for malingering, psychodiagnostic clarification, intellectual and cognitive evaluations, and violence risk evaluations. Evaluees are justice-involved individuals who have been adjudicated not guilty by reason of insanity (NGRI) or deemed incompetent to stand trial by the court. Fellows will be responsible for selecting, administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological tests with the goal of writing high-quality integrated forensic reports. Additional forensic assessment opportunities are available through conducting private evaluations in person in the greater New Orleans area and as a remote evaluator. The scope of evaluation questions are broad and come from referrals from attorneys, courts, and medico-legal professionals. Typical forensic cases will encompass both criminal and civil areas, although the majority of referrals are for criminal evaluations. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Obtain 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or resiliency, with demonstrated exceptional organizational skills to plan, design, and coordinate the development of offensive security testing, assessments, or simulation exercises * Track record of discovered vulnerabilities (CVEs) in high-profile targets in at least one of the following environments: operating systems, mobile devices, web applications, browsers. * Proven hands-on experience in vulnerability research and PoC/exploit development, reporting, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in open-source projects. * Expertise in advanced analysis frameworks leveraging symbolic execution techniques and dynamic binary instrumentation to uncover, triage, and exploit complex software vulnerabilities. * Hands-on proficiency exploiting complex vulnerability classes - including user-after-free, double free, type confusion - and applying advanced exploitation techniques such as heap spraying and controlled memory corruption to achieve reliable code execution. * Strong understanding of at least two operating systems internals throughout user mode and kernel mode (Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux, Android, MacOS, or iOS). * Experience auditing large C/C++, Java, and .Net codebases combining automated static analyzers with manual review to trace data and control flow, uncover memory-safety, injection, and deserialization vulnerabilities and produce proof-of-concept code. * Extensive reverse engineering expertise on x86/x64 and ARM/ARM64 binaries, employing IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, WinDbg, GDB, and RR for deep static/dynamic analysis and root cause vulnerability discovery. * Knowledge of US financial services sector cybersecurity or resiliency organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, regulations, threats, risks, and incident response methodologies * Ability to identify systemic security or resiliency issues as they relate to threats, vulnerabilities, or risks, with a focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation, and proficiency in multiple security assessment methodologies (e.g., Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP) Top Ten, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework), offensive testing tools, or resiliency testing equivalents * Excellent communication, collaboration, and report writing skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across various functions and levels Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Bachelor's degree in computer science, or PhD in a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field. * 5+ years of experience in exploit research and development. * Experience using Fuzzing tools such as LibFuzzer, LibAFL, AFL++, OSS-Fuzz, Syzkaller and program analysis tools such as LLVM, Angr, KLEE, Intel Pin, DynamoRIO, and Frida. * Experience emulating embedded platforms for live debugging. * Kernel and low-level OS development. * Deep Linux internals knowledge (SELinux, AppArmor, Seccomp, eBPF, containers, VMs). * Deep Windows internals knowledge (KASLR, DSE, SSDT, IDT, SMEP, SMAP, PXN, KPP, KDP, VBS, HVCI, KMCI, UMCI).

Compensation Range: Hourly: $75.00 - $75.00 The Part-Time Researcher for Lab Development will support a research grant. This position will play a key role in developing hands-on learning experiences using the Haiku Forge tool. This position offers a unique blend of technical skill development and educational content creation, to contribute significantly to the advancement of cybersecurity training methods. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the development of innovative cybersecurity labs and creating comprehensive training materials for the Haiku Forge tool. This position is 100% grant funded. Essential Functions: Support the development of lab content mapped to various certifications like CompTIA CASP+ and CompTIA Network+. Collaborate with a learning experience designer to create lesson plans, video content, and other content for the creation of lab content in the Haiku Forge Platform. Submit work summaries and reports based on your work and research. Collaborate with fellow researchers, faculty, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the research projects. Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on progress. Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical area required. Experience participating in online cybersecurity labs required. Experience creating cybersecurity labs required. CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred. Experience using the Haiku Cyber Range preferred. Ability to work up to 20 hours per week Monday-Friday.
