Provide title evidence to examiners, attorneys or outside title company to facilitate real estate closings. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) Common job activities are listed below; actual position responsibilities may vary. Refer to your manager or human resources for specific duties and performance expectations. Prioritize orders based on closing date. Acquire documents at district court, bankruptcy court and other appropriate sources. Research real estate records, title problems and legal descriptions. Transcribe/copy pertinent information into a format usable for processing, examining and closing personnel. May provide verbal updates prior to closing. (50-60%) Search names, obtain tax information, obtain documents and verify effective dates and tract index information. This position will support PMs and duties generally include: assisting in planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, proper scoping of services, creating proposals, assist with report preparation documenting surveys and field services including data evaluation and tabulation, client communications, consulting, and performing asbestos, lead, mold, indoor air quality, noise and industrial hygiene investigations. You will also participate and/or assist in some business development activities with the office leadership team to identify, develop, win, and execute exciting project opportunities and build and maintain client relationships. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: * Follow safety rules and guidelines. Assist with creating and modeling a safe work environment, demonstrating safety practices, and promoting pre-task planning for all projects. * Prepare proposals, develop sampling strategies, outline required analysis, and prepare budgets for approval by senior level staff. * Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase of a project and monitor activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure these targets are met. * Develop understanding of applicable guidance for compliance with federal, state, and/or local regulations. * Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with company risk policies. * Perform field studies including airborne chemical monitoring, noise monitoring, asbestos, lead-containing paint, mold, indoor air quality, and other regulated hazardous substances. * Operate and maintain field monitoring equipment. Maintain chain-of-custody in sample submission to appropriate laboratory for analysis. * Assist with implementing technical requirements to complete client projects by directing field staff to sample, test and collect data and/or document site activities. * Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate scope of services to meet milestones and deliver project deliverables within budget. * Evaluate laboratory and field/sampling data, prepare reports, risk assessments, and develop recommendations to correct and improve the environment for approval by senior level professionals. * May present and communicate findings and report recommendations to clients. * Works under the supervisions of Terracon Project Managers, Authorized Project Reviewers, or other senior level staff. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related science field. The area of specialty within neurobiology is open, and we will consider candidates' ability to add depth or distinctiveness to our curriculum.
