Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide demo support for all sales visits, ensuring that demos are created and dispatched within agreed timescales.
Accurately compound beverage formulas
Create complex applications using product portfolio knowledge.
Assist in the evaluation of flavors in application for briefs/research projects/portfolio evaluation.
Work with sensory team to conduct sensory testing and participate in taste panels and project evaluations as needed.
Support internal and external customers with product information and labelling.
Identify key requirements of a customer brief and work accordingly.
Work collaboratively with global Applications counterparts.
Use market trends to feed into projects and departmental initiatives.
Support Sales Team on customer visits where required.
Attend company and industry events independently.
Have a basic understanding of IT systems used within the department to fulfil the role. These include JDE, STARS, SDS viewer, MADs, WERCs, Cascade, TIPPS, SharePoint and Salesforce.
Carry out basic wet chemistry to analyze prototype samples.
Follow change control procedures for setting up new items, amending BOMs and specifications and issuing Fast Feasibility documents and subsequent scale up processes.
Sample a range of ingredients from stock following health & safety procedures.
Ensure that the working area in the laboratory is maintained in a clean and orderly condition and that any hazard or potential hazard is reported.
Ensure that HACCP protocols are put into effect in the lab.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Work continuously to maximize potential revenue and contribution.
Carryout daily checks on a rotational basis to ensure the working area is maintained to a high level.
Write & review Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments.
Perform such other tasks as are consistent with the general description.
Act in the best interest of Treatt PLC at all times.
Education & Training:
Bachelor's Degree ideally in a food related degree or science.
Minimum of 1 Year experience in a similar role.

Essential Duties
* Will monitor beaches on Keewaydin Island and the City of Naples between Doctor's Pass and Gordon Pass for sea turtle nesting activity.
* Cage nests and tag nesting turtles on the southern four miles of Keewaydin Island.
* Patrol on an ATV to look for nesting sea turtles (nights and/or days).
* Cage nests to prevent depredation by raccoons.
* Tag nesting females and accurately record data on carapace dimensions and nest locations.
* Monitor nest-hatching success by excavating nests and counting hatched and un-hatched eggs.
* Safely operate ATV and a motorboat; maintain the ATVs, a generator, and a motorboat by changing the oil on a regularly scheduled basis, fix flat tires, make sure gasoline is on the island to fuel the generator and ATVs, and prepare the equipment for the next evening after each night's field work is completed.
* Keep the field station clean during the course of the summer.
* Enter research information in computer system's database.
* Relate to the public in a cheerful, positive manner when asked questions about sea turtles while patrolling the beaches.
Education and/or experience: Applicant must be at least a college senior in one of the biological or environmental sciences, with BS or BA preferred.

* Attend introductory training sessions organized by the project PI and Co-PI's.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This position synthesizes technical coral and fisheries assessment information in support of the agency's marine fisheries rule making process, reviews and interprets stock assessments and fisheries regulations, evaluates life history and fisheries-dependent and independent data, and develops reports and presentations on marine fishery issues.
Supports FWC's coral restoration efforts through coordinating and managing reports from coral practitioners in the new coral nursery, outplanting and transportation protocols, including responding to coral practitioners as needed.
Coordinates for FWC between Monroe County, DEP, and FKNMS on Habitat Support Plan for Monroe County, including providing assistance with permitting, project development, and deployment of habitat support structures.
Works with FWC staff to issue Special Activity Licenses for corals and works with FKNMS on permitting issues relative to corals.
Meets with coral practitioners as needed to discuss agency coral policies.
Participates in the rulemaking process to help the Commission build a record in support of their decisions. Drafts supporting documents in coordination with legal staff.
Serves as a liaison as needed with local, state, and federal agencies on coral and marine fisheries issues.
Assists senior staff in coordinating research projects that are relevant to coral and fisheries management decisions.
Works with senior staff in the development of technical papers and presentations on management of various Florida marine fisheries to guide and support the Commission's rulemaking process.
Works with senior staff to coordinate with other state and federal agencies, commercial and recreational fishers, and other stakeholders to identify coral and marine fisheries management issues, develop management recommendations, and support the Commission's management process.
Assists in conducting public workshops and other information gathering meetings on issues related to Florida's coral management and marine fisheries issues
Works with division outreach staff on upcoming regulatory changes to help suggest and prepare articles for regulation publications and regulations chart.
Reviews Commercial and Recreational regulations brochure prior to publication.
Responds to public inquiries regarding marine fisheries issues including coral in a timely manner.
Scans the FWC DMFM web pages for errors and prepares comments for the website.
Provides support to Section Leader, Deputy, and Division Director on special assignments as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in the development of technical papers and presentations on Florida's fisheries to support the Commission's rulemaking process. This position is also the Division's representative in the northwest Florida region and will build relationships with stakeholders in the region and support the regional director as needed.

Prepare and maintain rulemaking history documents for major fish and invertebrate species by compiling management history from the records of Commission rulemaking and supplementing that record with relevant biological, social, and economic information.
Research, synthesize, and manage historical regulatory information to inform ongoing and future rulemaking and management decisions in support of agency staff.
Manage the Division's historical records in hard copy files, electronic records, and Laserfiche. Assists Division staff members with Laserfiche as needed.
Edit Commission meeting minutes as needed.
Represent the Division in the Northwest Region by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with marine fisheries stakeholders. Also coordinate with and brief the Regional Director on northwest Florida and statewide marine fisheries issues and stakeholder concerns.
Is knowledgeable about and, as needed, coordinates and assists in Division of Marine Fisheries Management outreach events in Northwest Florida.
Work with senior staff to coordinate with commercial and recreational fishers and other stakeholders to support the Commission's management process.
Communicate and coordinate with division outreach staff on pre- and post-Commission meeting changes and any standardized responses for dissemination via website, phone calls, emails, outreach events, and other forums.
Assist with coordinating and conducting public workshops and other information-gathering meetings on issues relating to Florida's marine fisheries.
Assist the Division's Special Projects coordinator with response to public record requests.
Work with the Division's Public Information Specialist to provide content for FWC's public marine fisheries websites and maintain/manage the Division SharePoint site
