    Our team is involved with pre-silicon design verification for custom IP. A critical requirement of the verification flow is the requirement of legal and realistic stimulus of a custom Machine Learning Accelerator Chip. Content creation is built using formal methods that model legal behavior of the design and then solving the problem to create the specific assembly tests. The entire frame work for creating these custom tests is developed using a SMT solver and custom software code to guide the solution space into templated scenarios. This highly visible and innovative role requires the design of this solving framework and collaborating with design verification engineers, hardware architects and designers to ensure that interesting content can be created for the projects needs. Key job responsibilities Develop an understanding for a custom machine learning instruction set architecture. Model correctness of instruction streams using first order logic. Create custom API's to allow control over scheduling and randomness. Deploy algorithms to ensure concurrent code is safely constructed. Create coverage metrics to ensure solution space coverage. Use novel methods like machine learning to automate content creation. Responsibilities for the role will include: * Support the development, transfer, scale-up, validation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment for Agilent's Genomics line of products.. * Supports process and test method development and scale-up of manufacturing processes for production in a lab environment. * Writes and implements shipping and stability studies. * Designs and optimizes processes for manufacturing using statistics-based experimentation and principles of process excellence including DfM practices. * Works with internal organizations and vendors to ensure regulatory and company compliance of manufacturing processes. * Involved in new product scale-up, purification, process optimization, technology transfer and process validation activities. * Develops production procedures and product specifications. * Supervises the performance of processes and equipment and makes recommendations for quality and continuous improvements. * Works with equipment vendors to define, develop, implement and qualify process equipment. Qualifications Qualifications * Bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline. * 3+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 -3 year of experience as a support scientist in a manufacturing environment. * Strong technical understanding and excellent bench skills in one or more of the following areas: NGS, Microarray, PCR/QPCR, Laboratory Automation Preferred Skills and Experience * Experience working in a regulated environment, and familiar with regulatory standards and requirements (ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, or similar). * Experience designing/writing/executing validation plans, equipment qualifications, stability studies, protocols, and/or shipping validations. * Experience implementing DfM and/or QbD approaches during NPI transfers. * Use of statistical techniques and statistical and graphical tools to analyze experimental data, troubleshoot and optimize processes, perform sample size calculations. The individual will work as part of Nuclein's Assay Research team, reporting to Nuclein`s Chief Scientist. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. · Work independently on Nuclein`s assay and chemistry research efforts for the company's menu test pipeline · Design, develop, and optimize rapid/fast-cycle PCR and qPCR assays for DNA and RNA targets. · Lead feasibility and development studies to evaluate assay performance (LOD, linearity, specificity, robustness). · Innovate sample preparation and extraction workflows compatible with automated or integrated molecular platforms. · Develop statistically sound study designs and analyze large datasets using tools such as JMP, Excel, R, or Python. · Perform kinetic and efficiency analyses, baseline correction, and melt curve interpretation for assay optimization. · Interpret experimental results, troubleshoot issues, and propose data-driven solutions. · Prepare detailed technical reports, development summaries, and design control documentation (per ISO 13485 or FDA guidelines). · Design and execute experiments and test protocols to demonstrate proof-of-concept and feasibility for new assay oligo designs/formulations/new chemistries. · Work closely with the company's Development group, providing integration support for new, and existing assays · Able to analyze and document experimental data/results; write detailed project plans and feasibility reports · Investigate field and customer complaints/issues for on-market Nuclein assays Education, Qualifications, and/or Experience. · Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline, such as molecular biology, chemistry or a related field or equivalent years of education and experience combined, minimum of 7 years industrial experience. · Expertise in quantitative PCR optimization, nucleic acid extraction from biological specimens, or microbiological culture preferred. · Experience with microfluidic or cartridge-based molecular systems. · Background in qPCR data processing, automation scripting, or DOE (Design of Experiments). · Proficient with statistical analysis methods applicable to molecular assay development. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present scientific findings to internal and external stakeholders. · Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
