What You Will Do
Follows established policy and procedures for quality control, Embryology/ Andrology procedures, and standard set forth by state and federal agency including Ohio department of health, College of American Pathologist (CAP), and Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Performs clerical responsibilities with attention to detail.
Participates in a learning environment, including journal club, and is engaged on continuing development and education.
Performs retrievals, conventional inseminations, and proper preparation for upcoming cases.
Carry out oocyte and embryo grading, fertilization checks, embryo transfers and assisted hatching.
Proficient in cryopreservation and thawing.
Performs micromanipulation of oocyte and/or embryo including Intracytoplasmic sperm injection and trophectoderm biopsy.
Maintains proper communication and interaction with patients, clinical staff, and laboratory personnel.
Fosters a team oriented environment.
Requires to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
Participates in alarm call.
Assists in training for Embryologist I/ Andrologists and contribute to duties specific to Embryologist III & IV pertaining to Embryologist II position’s training.
Performs assignments as requested by Lab Director.

Dr. Norah Feeny, the Director of the PTSD Treatment and Research Program at Case Western Reserve University and Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, is hiring a full-time post-doctoral scholar to work on a National Institute of Mental Health funded study examining PATH (Positive Processes and Transition to Health), a brief treatment that targets key psychological processes common to PTSD and MDD. This position will involve managing day-to-day activities of the grant, serving as a therapist for the intervention, overseeing data management, and supervising independent evaluators and research assistants.
