Essential Job Functions:
1. Prepare and deliver instruction to students in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences.
2. Facilitate activities in the classroom and/or laboratory.
3. Act as a liaison between the students and the Faculty Course Coordinator, Program Director, and/or Chair.
4. Provide and facilitate examinations. May include assigning grades consistent with course requirements.
5. Teach or facilitate classes based on varied schedules to accommodate diverse student needs and to meet the expectations of the College.
6. Follow the course curriculum as assigned.
7. Prepare assignments as necessary.
8. Evaluate student performance and learning as assigned.
9. Maintain an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success.
10. Adjuncts working in the laboratories may also engage in patient or healthcare professional role play, small group discussions, and skill facilitation.
11. Required to complete NSU mandatory trainings. For example, HIPAA compliance, technology training, Canvas training, etc.
