Working here you'll be part of a family that works together to make a difference and enhance the lives of millions worldwide. **What You'll Work On** + Perform microbiological analysis of raw ingredients, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental monitoring using high-quality scientific techniques. + Collaborate with a small team of microbiologists, demonstrating strong attention to detail, clear communication, and reliability. + Prioritize tasks to deliver accurate results efficiently while maintaining compliance with FDA, GMP, and regulatory standards for infant formula and nutritional products. + Conduct product testing, environmental testing, and raw ingredient testing. + Complete documentation, troubleshoot issues, and support project work. + Prepare media and maintain general lab housekeeping standards. **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 1 year of college-level lab studies and mathematics, and 2 years of laboratory experience OR 4 years of experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of regulatory standards for infant formula, nutritional's, and quality control testing. + Experience in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or hospital/medical laboratory settings. **Preferred Qualifications** + Associate or bachelor's degree in a science-related field with relevant lab coursework and experience. **You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.** **Position Details** + **Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour** + **Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)** + **Schedule: Enjoy every other weekend off with a consistent 4-week rotation:** **Sample Rotation:** + **Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)** + **Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)** + **Week 3: Same as Week 1** + **Week 4: Same as Week 2** **This schedule offers stability and work-life balance while providing opportunities for overtime.** **"The initial training period will span two weeks and will be conducted on the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m." There may be additional training on day shift.** In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
