This work will require teamwork and coordination with other lab members, maintenance of accurate and timely records of experimental procedures and results, and maintenance of supply inventories for the laboratory. * Strong organizational skills. * Familiarity with the principles of biology (preferably virology). * Proficient in research experiment skills and techniques. * Proficient laboratory record-keeping and maintenance skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications. * Willingness to work in solo and team environments and multitask during the workday. * Bachelor's Degree OR * One year of related experience. * Master's Degree in a Biological or Chemical Science. * Experience in rodent handling and tissue processing. * Experience in laboratory techniques such as molecular biology, cloning, cell culture, ELISA and flow cytometry are desirable. * Experience in aseptic techniques and culture and maintenance of microbial stocks. * Experience in statistical analysis and/or big data management.
