About the position: As a Laboratory Technician in Training, you will train in preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists. Work is performed in accordance with standard laboratory practice under limited supervision.
What you'll do:
Clinical Duties
Responsible for becoming proficient in day-to-day operations of Lab Services; specifically:
Assess tissue adequacy for testing
Perform quality control checks on materials produced
Complete equipment maintenance and logs
Develop problem-solving skills-determining causes of operating errors and deciding corrective course of action
Controlling operations of equipment and systems
Monitor and assess performance of self to make improvements or take corrective action
Assist in Lab for other duties as assigned
Practice safe work procedures while performing job duties
Periodically review of work product for compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable workload limits
Administrative Duties
Assist in Accessioning
Maintenance of Lab logs and tracking sheets
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
All SOPs must be followed
Any discrepancies, errors and/or deviation from the SOPs or Policies must be reported to the Lab Director, Lab Manager, Admin Lead and/or Section Lead
Laboratory Standards for Clinical testing must be maintained
You should have:
Education: Bachelor's or Associates degree from a four or two year-college or university with at least 12 semester hours biology and chemistry. Certification eligible
Experience: Histology-specific and Laboratory Technical skills. Prefer 2 years of lab experience but not required
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word
Other Requirements: Eligible to sit for the National HT/HTL exam after 1 year of employment
Schedule options: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm, or Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm and every Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Your Job Molex is rapidly growing and seeking several new Electronics Lab Technicians to join our team. This position will work closely with our Project Engineers and the Lab Supervisor who establish general processes and priorities. You will be expected to perform assigned duties independently, apply critical thinking and analysis to solve practical problems. This position will support a global division - interacting with engineering and product management personnel from all regions. You will perform functional tests and signal integrity evaluations, provide feedback to engineering on functional and quality issues encountered, and make suggestions for improvement.
Training in the use of a network analyzer, signal integrity tools and time domain reflectometry will be provided. We are looking for new team members who are eager to learn. This is a development opportunity to learn the skills needed to test cable assemblies and other products for signal integrity.

What You Will Do
Essential Functions:
Perform soldering or de-soldering operations including microscopic scale to assemble or remove resistors, capacitors, wires on board, and connectors for electrical testing.
Perform Signal Integrity measurements on high-speed products using network analyzers.
Perform time domain reflectometry measurements and oscilloscope measurements.
Perform BER, SNR and Eye measurements on high-speed data signals.
Perform mechanical exposures to high-speed data cables.
Create reports from measurement data using Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and in house software.
Highlight areas of failure in any prototype and provide possible reasons for malfunctions.
Organize lab and maintain archive of reports in on-line library.
Support Molex quality programs by following approved policies and procedures.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience working in a lab environment testing physical products
Intermediate level computer skills with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
What Will Put You Ahead
Associate degree in a technical field
Education or experiences focused on electrical or mechanical technology.
Intermediate level computer scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) are considered a plus
