As a Microbiological Lab Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and safety of food, beverage, and environmental samples through meticulous testing and analysis. Supervised by the Plant Science Research and Education Facility Manager and the Department Head, this position provides technical assistance to faculty and researchers in establishing and maintaining turfgrass for research, teaching, and outreach. Duties also include maintenance and repair of equipment associated with field and greenhouse projects as well as pesticide applications. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Establish, maintain, and renovate turfgrass areas for research, teaching, and outreach activities. Our technicians will go through a thorough on the job training program with an experienced technician. Additionally, Braman offers a full certification program with support from a board-certified entomologist to complete their required state testing and obtain the proper credentials. Duties & Responsibilities: * Obtain MA and CT NWCO licenses. * Wildlife trapping and removal. * Exclusion and preventative services. * Wildlife damage repair. * Perform Integrated Pest Management/Pest Control. * Provides world-class wildlife management services for both residential and commercial properties. * Build strong relationships with internal and external customers Inspect and identify properties for wildlife damage including on roofs, in attics, and in crawlspaces. * Perform exclusion work to prevent the reentry of wildlife into homes and businesses. * Install and service bait stations and exclusion devices. * Performs exclusion services and animal removal for residential and commercial customers which includes inspections, trapping, baiting, light carpentry work, and working at roof top levels. * Inspect properties for wildlife and rodent damage and make recommendations on solutions to remedy the problem. * Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. * Identify and communicate any safety-related obstacles and lead with a safety-first mindset. Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements: * High school diploma or GED. * Valid driver's license. * We perform criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks and drug screening. * The ability to work in all weather conditions. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Effective communication skills. * Exceptional customer service skills. * Detail-oriented.
