MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
Set up and calibrate equipment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following is required: UT, RT, MT or PT.
Prior certification as an NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as an NDE Level I technician with adequate field experience hours to certify to Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required; UT, RT, MT or PT.
Industrial Radiographers Certification Card preferred. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).
Completion of a forty (40) hour Radiation Safety Course preferred. (Required for all hired as a Radiographer).

The Andrews RMC was designed to pioneer the translation of regenerative medicine treatments from early clinical and animal studies to evidence-based patient care. The RMC provides clinical space to offer current evidence-based and regulatory-compliant treatments and houses a tissue processing and storage facility to participate in developmental stem cell studies. The RMC includes a GMP compliant clean room (ISO 7), lab equipment to facilitate research (including a flow cytometer, hemocytometer, incubator, microscope, ELISA reader, and other equipment), and biologic product storage (including liquid nitrogen vapor phase storage, a -80 freezer, and two medical grade biologic refrigerators).
Qualifications
* Ph.D. in molecular biology or a related field
* Demonstrated experience leading research program development

Description of Duties:
The FWCs Northwest Region is seeking an OPS Fish & Wildlife Technician to assist the area biologist with wildlife habitat management and monitoring efforts at four Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) - the Fitzhugh Carter Tract of Econfina Creek, Juniper Creek, Pine Log, and Point Washington WMAs, located in Bay, Calhoun, Walton, and Washington Counties, FL. This position serves cooperatively as part of a multi-agency team to manage and enhance habitats for the benefit of a variety of species and for the enjoyment of Florida residents and visitors. The successful candidate will assist the area biologist, Florida Forest Service (FFS) and Northwest Florida Water Management District (NWFWMD) personnel with multiple aspects of habitat management, facility and infrastructure maintenance, as well as surveying and monitoring of game and non-game wildlife.
This position is responsible for planting and maintaining wildlife food plots to benefit wildlife and ensure a high-quality recreational experience for area users on Juniper Creek, Pine Log, and Point Washington WMAs. The Incumbent will assist with infrastructure construction, maintenance and repair, including roads, trails, culverts, fences, gates, signs, and buildings. Additionally, the position will operate, maintain and repair area equipment and vehicles including trucks, tractors, ATVs, heavy equipment and various implements (disc harrows, mowers, sprayers, etc.). Incumbent also must possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair small engines, implements, and heavy equipment. The successful candidate will assist with the operation of a hunter check station at the Fitzhugh Carter Tract WMA to collect biological data of hunter harvested game, and may periodically assist with administration of special opportunity hunts and fishing events.
The successful candidate will work cooperatively with FFS and NWFWMD personnel to identify and treat invasive vegetation. This position will frequently assist with prescribed fire operations at the Fitzhugh Carter Tract and Pine Log WMAs, and may provide additional support on prescribed burns at other WMAs in the Northwest Region as needed. The successful candidate will assist the area biologist with technical aspects of habitat management and survey implementation (e.g. design, construction, and installation of nest boxes, traps etc.). Incumbent may also opportunistically assist with wildlife surveying and monitoring efforts depending on needs and interest.
The incumbent will interact with various partner agencies and the public to provide information concerning wildlife and area management, rules and regulations. Occasionally the incumbent will attend regional and divisional meetings as well as various trainings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
An Associates degree in a science, pre-engineering, or laboratory science field required, in excess of five years of manufacturing laboratory experience can be substituted for a degree.
5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory setting.

THIS IS AN OPS POSITION. IT IS NOT CAREER SERVICE.
The FWC's Northeast Region is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join a team of biologists and technicians on Triple N Ranch and Herky Huffman Bull Creek Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) in Osceola County, FL. This position serves as an OPS Fish and Wildlife Technician on a highly productive team of land managers to restore and enhance habitats for the benefit of a variety of species and for the enjoyment of Florida residents and visitors. The successful candidate will be a key team member responsible for all aspects of management of the WMAs including application of ~12,000 acres of prescribed fire annually and conducting mechanical and chemical vegetation control (mowing, roller chopping, herbicide, etc.) to manage habitats. Habitat improvement is focused on imperiled and locally important species including, but not limited to, red-cockaded woodpecker, striped newt, northern bobwhite, white-tailed deer, and wild turkey. Additionally, this position will assist with planting of wildlife food plots to benefit wildlife and ensure a high quality recreational experience for area users on Triple N Ranch WMA. The successful candidate will assist with the operation of hunter check stations on the two WMAs as well as Fort Drum WMA to collect biological data of hunter harvested game.
Additionally, the position will assist with infrastructure construction, maintenance and repair, including roads, trails, culverts, fences, gates, signs, and buildings. The position will operate, maintain and repair area equipment and vehicles including trucks, tractors, ATVs, heavy equipment and various implements (disc harrows, mowers, sprayers, etc.). Incumbent also must possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair small engines, implements, and heavy equipment. The incumbent will interact with various partner agencies and the public to provide information concerning wildlife and area management, rules and regulations. DAY-TO-DAY
Our full-time wildlife technicians typically work Monday - Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts.
As a Wildlife Exclusion Technician, you help Central Florida residents reclaim their homes! When someone calls us in a panic because of a raccoon, squirrel, or rat infestation, you're the person who comes to their rescue! Clients feel reassured as you knowledgeably answer their questions and take control of the situation. As a trained professional, you know exactly what to do: you set strategically placed traps to capture and remove the critters. Employing recommended safety precautions, you humanely transport squirrels and raccoons to an appropriate location and release them back into the wild.
Once the animals have been removed, you move on to the exclusion process. Observant and thorough, you inspect the property to identify active and potential entry points. You leave nothing to chance, carefully examining the building by going on the rooftops and crawl spaces. Next, you properly check any weak spots by sealing up the home with sheet metal, concrete and hardware cloth to protect the residence from future infestations. When necessary, you place rodent monitoring stations on the property to keep the exterior population under control. The Novelis North America Bay Minette Technical team is looking for Lab Technicians to be located at our new facility in Bay Minette, Alabama. The Laboratory Technician will ensure the quality of aluminum products meet their requirements by conducting process and product testing. They will be responsible for the daily operations of the labs by guiding the lab team, supporting the setup of lab equipment (maintenance and calibration), monitoring lab consumable inventory, reviewing and analyzing test results, supporting qualification trials, and assisting in root cause investigation on customer claims.

Install and set up new equipment, develop work instructions, maintain lab instruments, and ensure maintenance and calibration records are up-to-date.
Train staff and cross-train lab technicians, maintain training records, perform layered process audits, and ensure management of change documentation is recorded.
Provide technical support for customer claims, trials, qualifications, and product development projects, perform cross-checks with other Novelis plants, and ensure consistency and best processes
Minimum Qualifications:
An Associates degree in a science, pre-engineering, or laboratory science field required, in excess of five years of manufacturing laboratory experience can be substituted for a degree.
5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory setting.
Experience in customer interface work
Basic computer and math skills are required.

Once the animals have been removed, you move on to the exclusion process. Observant and thorough, you inspect the property to identify active and potential entry points. You leave nothing to chance, carefully examining the building by going on the rooftop and crawl spaces. Next, you properly check any weak spots and seal up the home with sheet metal, concrete and hardware cloth to protect the residence from future infestations. When necessary, you place rodent monitoring stations on the property to keep the exterior population under control. You find great satisfaction in helping our clients resolve their wildlife issues, and their gratitude is immensely rewarding!
