Job Purpose:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares specimens for analysis and organizes tests to be performed.
Prepares and properly labels reagents required for laboratory testing
Conducts analysis of dried blood spots or body fluid to determine presence of normal and abnormal components.
Reviews test results, maintains legible work records, and enters findings into the laboratory information systems.
Performs routine preventative maintenance on instruments and equipment's according to established schedule and procedure
Verifies proper instrument function by checking and calibrating lab instruments and documents data.
Records on instrument log any repairs, replacement and maintenance performed on laboratory instruments.
Abides by laboratory safety policies and procedures.

Working Conditions: describe office, loading dock, lab environment, include shifts and any travel:

Travel is not required.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use a keyboard, type, and occasionally stand and move to other parts of the lab. Must have manual dexterity to use lab equipment. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a physical science such as chemistry, biology, molecular biology or medical technology.

We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to join our team to work on cutting-edge "Reasoning Reward Models" (RRMs). The purpose of this role is to help move beyond traditional scalar reward signals by developing models that generate natural language insights to explain human preferences. The intern will assist in implementing pipelines that bridge structured logical reasoning (e.g., Math) and open-ended human reasoning (e.g., Medical), ultimately contributing to new methods for Large Language Model (LLM) post-training and alignment.
Core Responsibilities:
* Train Reasoning Reward Models using Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Direct Preference Optimization (DPO) to generate natural-language insights for Math and Medical tasks.
* Implement insight-based post-training mechanisms, specifically "Behavioral Priming" and "Insight Exhibition Rewards," to align models with interpretable reasoning criteria.
* Develop and implement software prototypes, algorithms, and data pipelines to support ongoing research projects.
