Each of these units has tremendous capacity and impact through cutting-edge scholarship, leading personnel preparation programs, state-of-the-art technical assistance and outreach, the demonstrated capacity to engage in and disseminate effective tools and technologies, and the necessary support for managing the fiscal and reporting requirements of federally funded projects. DESTNY is devoted to generating new knowledge, assessment, prevention, and intervention. Position Summary
The DESTNY Grant Management Unit at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its open research pool. Positions are limited duration, funding contingent appointments that are part-time or short term contracts not to exceed one year, with the possibility of renewal up to a total of three years. Renewals will be dependent upon program needs, funding, and performance. Salary will be dependent upon education, experience, and available funding.
Possible research areas encompass program development, statistical analyses covering all aspects of preparation of scientific paper, presentation, and grant application preparation, professional development of project staff, off-site research activities involving a variety of populations like individuals with developmental disabilities or non-English speaking groups, and the establishment of population databases essential for research and evaluation projects.
Research Associates will conduct independent research and participate on research teams.
Research Assistants will conduct research under the direction of Research Associates and participate on research teams.
Postdoctoral Research Scholars will conduct research under the direction of a faculty member to acquire research training. In addition, to further career development, the postdoctoral research scholar and PI will create and follow mentoring and individual development plans.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Regularly perform intakes, diagnostic evaluations, prepare and monitor treatment planning while engaging in appropriate client therapy practices and following guidance provided by one's supervisor
+ Engage in crisis interventions, stabilization, and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional and/or behavioral responses while prioritizing client safety
+ Timely and accurately document all client interactions as dictated by law, ethical standards, board requirements and ECAS policy and practices

+ Form effective therapeutic alliances, supporting each client's unique needs and goals, with the result in positively impacting client outcomes and retention
+ Demonstrate advanced level of clinical knowledge and modeling as it relates to the individual's goals, treatment plan and diagnosis
+ Spanish-Language/Latinx Culture (SLLC) Specialization:
+ Provides bilingual Spanish language services and have a focus on providing services to the Latinx community in Eugene under the supervision of a Spanish-speaking Latina supervisor
