Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description The Lab Technician will perform activities necessary to maintain and operate the development work in the laboratory under supervision. We seek scholars with innovative, rigorous, and impactful basic research programs focusing on the gut-brain axis related to aging, Alzheimer's disease, or associated dementias. This recruitment is part of a newly approved diversity cluster hiring opportunity towards Addressing Health Equity in Age-related Disorders ( AHEAD ). The AHEAD cluster envisions hiring and bringing together a cohort of scholars from the Rutgers Health (RH), the School of Engineering (SoE) and School of Arts and Sciences ( SAS ) at Rutgers New Brunswick, and to collectively advance knowledge of neurodegenerative disorders, develop treatments and technology solutions that help people experience a higher quality of life, and develop a deep understanding of the social, racial and ethnic health disparities associated with the onset and treatments of neurodegenerative disorders to map a path towards health equity and healthy aging.
