The Researcher will conduct research under the general guidance of the principal investigator and exhibits the ability to plan and implement experiments and analyze their results. They will perform a variety of routine experimental techniques in molecular biology, cell biology and/or biochemistry. They must be willing to respond promptly and accurately to inquiries, and requests for information and coordinates appropriate follow up. Work week may occasionally exceed 40 hours. Must be flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary. The Monell Chemical Senses Center was founded in 1968 as the world's first nonprofit scientific institute devoted exclusively to basic research on the chemical senses: taste, smell, and chemosensory irritation. Research at Monell contributes to a wide range of scientific and practical knowledge.
