You will push the boundaries of the state-of-the-art in audio and multimodal technologies. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in deep learning, both in terms of conceptual understanding, as well as practical experience, with previous exposure to audio applications. A core aspect of this role involves being able to keep up to date with the literature, implement, and innovate with the bleeding edge in generative models, self-supervised learning, and multi-modal learning.
With the explosion of large language models and natural language processing, you will partner closely with Dolby's worldwide AI research staff, which actively pursues the integration of such models into audio and media experiences. You will be able to hit the ground running, innovate, and contribute to such projects. Consequently, experience with language models, question answering, vision-language models, captioning, etc. would be highly beneficial.

The GGC Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Office is seeking a motivated student assistant to support campus honeybee management and applied research activities. This position provides hands-on experience in honeybee care, apiary operations, and environmental research designed to advance sustainability and pollinator health on campus. The assistant will play a key role in maintaining two GGC apiary site, one rooftop Langstroth hive and one ground-level Langstroth hive located in a landscaped urban environment and will conduct a comparative study on honey production and colony performance across these two environments.
Responsibilities
* Assist in routine hive inspections for both rooftop and ground-level apiaries.
* Monitor colony health, queen activity, brood patterns, pest/disease indicators, and environmental conditions.

Job Summary
Postdoctoral Researchers support teams of KSU faculty and students (undergraduate and graduate students), which engage with external collaborators from other universities, community members, government agencies, and/or private sector entities to stimulate innovation, capacity-building, and sustainability of research and scholarly activity at KSU.
The Postdoctoral Researcher will contribute to advancing research at the intersection of infrastructure resilience, data analytics, and intelligent systems. The position focuses on improving the safety, functionality, and sustainability of civil infrastructure under both normal and extreme conditions. Research activities may include topics such as infrastructure monitoring, resilience assessment, disaster response, and recovery planning, aiming to enhance community preparedness and adaptive capacity.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plans and executes experimental activities, data analyses, submission of reports or of manuscripts to peer-reviewed publications, and/or attendance and presentation of research findings at appropriate venues of dissemination
2. Develops and contributes to new ideas for research proposals and directions within the research group
3. Develops an Individual Development Plan (IDP) in collaboration with faculty mentor
4. Generates revenue by securing grants and participates in departmental and institutional career development programs, such as grant writing workshops
5. Prepares project budget and ensures funded project operates within budget guidelines
6. Maintains official records and documents, and ensures compliance with institutional policies, and federal, state and local regulations
7. Establishes working relationships and cooperative arrangements with internal and external partners
8. Engages in research and publication
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. D.V.M, Sc.D., M.D., PharmD., etc.) from an accredited institution of higher education or obtainment of doctorate degree within six (6) months of hire
