Job Description
Adhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadership.
Research and capture all maintenance program requirements to include Inspection Program, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, etc. to establish comprehensive and accurate listings of requirements for specific model aircraft.
Research all maintenance documentation for an aircraft and conduct necessary on-aircraft inspections to construct an accurate configuration of specific aircraft.
Utilize research to establish aircraft maintenance requirements pertinent to customer visit and organize the results into an understandable report for delivery to customer.
Supports Quality Inspectors by performing Quality Inspector duties and returning A/C to service when requested from Quality Leadership.
Ensure all work packages (orders and forms) as well as records of arrival, maintenance and corrective actions performed, are documented accurately and that all specialized customer (RED, RFE & SRPSA) and regulatory paperwork (FAA, FAR/CAA, etc) is complete and required approvals have been obtained.
Perform walk around inspection of aircraft for release from maintenance.
Perform return to service process and ensure assigned aircraft meets all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service.
Train, coach and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualification.
Provide data to customers as requested.
Qualifications
You have a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
You have at least 5 years aircraft (corporate or commercial jet) maintenance experience

Great Gull Island (GGI), NY, is the breeding site for 35% of the federally endangered Roseate Terns (~2,300 pairs) breeding the northwest Atlantic population, and the second largest colony (~11,000 pairs) of Common Tern on the east coast of North America. The Rubega Lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department has a grant to enhance nesting habitat for terns on GGI and create a biosecurity plan to protect the colony from predatory mammals, disease, and invasive plant species. The Program Manager (Research Assistant 3) will supervise all aspects of this project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Organizing and managing the logistics of a nesting habitat restoration project for Common and Roseate Terns breeding on Great Gull Island.
Implementing a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for all projects related to this habitat restoration project.
Ordering and supervising the transportation of supplies to the island.
Coordinating with the herbicide contractor and crew for twice-yearly application of herbicides to control invasive plant species on the island.
Coordinating and supervising volunteers conducting habitat enhancement on the island, including planting native plant plugs, installing nest boxes, and spreading pea gravel to enhance habitat over existing concrete structures.
Coordinating the removal of marine debris from the island.
Coordinating boat trips to Great Gull Island for contractors and crew members.
Supervising volunteer work crews on the island.
Supervising a staff of up to 3 habitat restoration technicians.
Writing annual reports summarizing habitat restoration efforts.
Enacting a biosecurity plan to protect terns nesting on the island from predatory mammals, disease, and new invasive plants.

• Biospecimen destruction in accordance with lab SOPs
• Adherence to biohazard, safety, CLIA and company standard protocols
• Preparing and retrieving biospecimens for storage
• Arrange samples in proper order into specimen containers
• Properly pack specimen containers into shipping boxes and ship specimens
• Receiving shipments from outside labs
• Store and log received shipments
• Maintain biospecimen inventory
• Perform and maintain lab supply inventory and order as appropriate
• Perform basic instrument maintenance
• Enter laboratory work into eWorkbook

Requirements:
RNA/DNA extraction experience

What you'll do
As an Adhesives Innovation Lab intern for our brand Loctite, you will:
* Get hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art lab setting
* Learn and apply technical engineering skills/principles and be exposed to a wide variety of markets/applications
* Work independently and as a team member on challenging lab projects
* Provide technical support, perform research, collect data and report on adhesive and dispensing equipment performance in manufacturing processes and environments
* Troubleshoot, perform failure analysis and research competing products and equipment
* Technical liaison with our customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and R&D
* Assist in the sales process by providing technical training, engineering support and identify new product development opportunities
What makes you a good fit
* A rising junior or rising senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or Material Science
* Knowledge of lab best practices and safety protocols
