Responsibilities
Operations
70% of your role is spent on:
- First point of contact for Head of Residence Life and stakeholders for facility and ID system processes.
- Manage building issues, including but not limited to Room Condition Reports, maintenance requests, and common space issues
- Spearhead planning and executing with hall openings and closings, including at academic breaks in collaboration with Head of Residence Life
- Serve on an on-call rotation (weekly), assisting with escalated situations and instructing Resident Assistant staff as needed

of your role is spent on:
- Provide supervision to 7-10 student employees, including front desk staff through bimonthly meetings and 1:1 support
- Assist with programming by organizing "surprise and delight" moments for residents
- Manage front desk staffing, creating a warm and welcoming environment for residents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience living, studying, or working abroad or experience working with international students and their particular adjustment issues
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills as well as a positive attitude

Events management preferred, as is comfort with nontraditional work hours - Live in animals would not be permitted unless emotional support certified
