Shift Differential: $2.50 overnight

Responsibilities and Duties
- Make personal connections with residents
- Training and mentoring of peers
- Weekly Resident report, minor clerical tasks
- Provide daily cares, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and more
- Assist with transfers, or helping residents into wheelchairs or walkers
- Administer medications for residents on a timely schedule
- Work alongside nursing staff, who are there to assist with activities and procedures requiring RN/LPN licensure
- Report to lead staffer, who will help you follow care protocol

Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Nursing Assistant Preferred. Prefer 2 years’ experience working in a Memory Care unit or with residents who have Dementia.
- Ability to lead a team. Have good communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Outgoing, friendly personality. Resident Aides must be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with residents.
- Age 18 or older. In order to operate lift equipment to help residents into wheelchairs or bed, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Retention Bonus
To remain eligible for the bonus, you must have good attendance and good work relationships with residents, family members and staff.
- If you are hired and commit to working 24 hours or more per week, you will be eligible for a total bonus of $1,500 paid at six and twelve months.
- If you are hired and commit to working 40 hours per week for the first 6 months, you will be eligible for the total bonus of $3,000 : paid at six and twelve months.

Community based, mission-driven hospice seeks experienced, talented, and compassionate hospice aides to join our team when we open our new hospice residence in the Fall 2022. This is an exciting opportunity for hospice aides interested in providing end-of-life care at a new 10-bed hospice facility. Seeking to fill 12 hour day and overnight shifts. Per diem positions are also available.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide bedside care to terminally ill patients residing at the hospice house following the established plan of care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude toward all patients and their families and a commitment toward exceeding the needs of our customers.
Education, Skills and Experience:
Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant
Current Massachusetts certification in good standing
A minimum of two years prior experience in community health, long term care facility, oncology, or a related field preferred.
Ability to be a team player and work harmoniously with patients, families, co-workers, and management.
