This program offers short-term transitional housing and services for community members accessing low-barrier recovery support services across the tri-county area. The On-Call RAC Resident Assistant will provide building coverage and assistance to residents, track overnight housing activities, coordinate needs with peer providers, regularly interact with program participants and collaborate with the team on the progress of such participants. On-Call hours are part-time and based on the need of the program and staff availability, hours may vary weekly. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Greets and directs participants, documents participant interactions, and provides information and updates to the team. Serves a diverse population effectively, providing support and basic resource information to participants, regularly interacting and relationship building, as appropriate. Working Conditions Environment and Physical Requirements: The RAC Resident Assistant works in an office and housing environment; however, the position occasionally visits field locations including other indoor and outdoor locations. Those locations are subject to a variety of environmental weather conditions including rain, snow, wind, and dust. The On-Call RAC Resident Assistant interacts constantly with staff, visitors, program participants, government agencies, and others. The position stands, walks, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. The incumbent must be able to lift, push, pull and move files and equipment in excess of 15 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is an on-call, part-time position. Days and hours of work are varied per week, based on the coverage needs of the facility. The Milieu Staff may be required to occasionally work extended hours including evening, weekend and/or holiday work as job duties demand.
