Minimum Qualifications
Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must successfully complete HallKeen Assisted Living Communities, LLC's Medication Training.
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

II. Maintain a safe, harm-free environment for all residents as follows:
Protects residents from aggressive behaviors of other residents by preventing physical fights, verbal abuse, sexual harassment, hazing, theft and borrowing of property.
Monitor the behavior of visitors and report any unauthorized people on the grounds of the residence.
Assure fire prevention measures are followed.
Document and report all incidents of risky or unsafe resident behavior (i.e. substance abuse, SIB, etc.)
Provide and maintain a consistent, structured, yet flexible framework for daily routines, house rules and policies.
Foster positive resident behaviors by modeling and teaching constructive communication and conflict resolution.
III. Transport residents to school, activities, medical and counseling appointments, recreational activities, bus and train terminals and shopping excursions.
IV. Lead resident discussion groups to convey instructions, share information, organize group activities and resolve conflicts.
V. Completes daily and monthly reports, critical incidents and assigned paperwork in an accurate and timely manner; in accordance with PNMI Standards.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: An Associate's Degree in a human service field and experience working with behaviorally challenged and at-risk adolescents. Must have the ability to relate to a variety of people and situations, to work with other staff members as part of a team, provide a positive role model and represent positive cultural and moral values. Familiar with Trauma Theory, Female Development, Female-Responsive principals, and relational strength-based approaches to care. Good verbal and written communication skills.
The employee must present a current valid driver's license and have available, use of a safe and roadworthy vehicle. The employee shall ensure the Agency has proof of suitable automobile insurance at all times.

Job Summary:
The RCA performs the resident services tasks as assigned by the resident care nurses. Our services are a prime focus for our residents and resident care department. This position provides service and care to each resident in a timely efficient manner. We strive to maintain high resident and family satisfaction, meet high expectations, and ensure that the Hallkeen Community services are implemented in service/customer focused manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
Provides activities of daily living assistance to the residents as directed from each Resident's Service Plan.
Provides Medication reminders according to state regulations. (NOT TO ADMINISTER)
Understands and complies with all Resident Rights.
Works well with seniors showing understanding and patience.
Prioritizes tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change.
Informs supervisor of changes in the resident's condition and needs. Documents these observations thoroughly and communicates any changes to other staff.
Provides personal services for residents in a professional and efficient manner.
Assists relatives, visitors, and guests as needed.
Maintains a positive and professional environment and projects a calm and competent image.
Adheres to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when bending, lifting, and using equipment.
Maintains assisted living area to be clean and odor free.
Respond to resident needs and requests.
Promote a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork.
Ability to be flexible.
Immediately reports any personal accident or work-related injury.
Ensures efficient use of company supplies, materials, tools, and resources.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must successfully complete HallKeen Assisted Living Communities, LLC's Medication Training.
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence. Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide each of the assigned residents with routine daily care by assisting with direct resident care duties and indirect resident care duties, as directed by the charge nurse, and/or certified nursing assistants.

Assist CNA's with residents requiring 2-staff transfer except in mechanical transfers.
Make occupied bed.
Assist in obtaining weights.
Provide full or partial bed bath.

Pass, set up, and collect trays.

Organize, straighten, and clean closets and dressers (i.e., clothes hung neatly on hangers in closet, folded neatly in drawers, trash and soiled laundry removed.)
Ensure personal care items are put away and stocked (check with Team Leaders or Nurse Manager for appropriate stock.)
Gather supplies need for provisions of care, passing out linens.
Pass out drinks to independent residents who are not at risk for impaired swallowing/aspiration, check residents' drinks at bedside and verbally encourage residents to drink.
Report resident's intake to Team Leaders.
