POSITION SUMMARY
Our Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) supports the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating, and coordinating various daily life enrichment activities for our active residents, aimed to promote their physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engage residents one-on-one and in small and large group settings.
Lead or assist with group and one-on-one social, religious, educational, indoor, and outdoor activities, exercise, and outings.
Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art and music, trips, and special events.
Support the coordination of the monthly newsletter.
Encourage resident participation in activities and document outcomes when required.
Review goals and progress notes.
Assist in decorating for special events, holidays, and seasonal celebrations.
Support the coordination of external trips, including reservations, and ensure resident safety during outings.
Assist the Resident Lifestyle Director as necessary.
Requirements
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
At least 6-12 months of relevant experience working with seniors, leading life enrichment activities is preferred.
Working knowledge of various computer systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
Ability to maintaining composure in stressful situations and commitment to always treating our residents with respect and dignity.
Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized.
Excellent communication skills.

About the Position
Springfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Special Education team as a Transition Assistant - Instructional Resource. This position is responsible for case management and provision of specific services preparing youth for postsecondary training, job exploration counseling, work-based learning experience, workplace readiness training, and self-advocacy. Instructional and Behavioral Support:
Develop and supervise life skills lessons both on and off-campus.

Model and assist students in developing social and safety skills in community settings.
Assist students in managing behaviors and resolving conflicts.
Program Supervision:
Supervise students in various work-based learning experiences, including on-campus enterprises like the coffee cart and SPS Farm.

Transportation and Off-Campus Activities:
Transport students to activities, work sites, and events using district vehicles.
Lead and supervise exercise groups and swimming activities off-campus.

RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction to clients. RCC clients are often combative and have multiple mental or behavioral challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as treatments such as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients.
Eligibility for a QMHA certification is preferred. You must have prior experience working with combative at-risk youth, preferably in a residential setting OR experience working in a challenging, high-paced environment that can be applicable to this line of work. The ability to maintain strong professional boundaries and confidentiality is a must. You must also be able to pass crisis intervention training within your first month of employment. The Regional Crisis Center uses specific manual restraints as specified by the state, and the ability to perform these restraints is essential to the position.

Resolution Oregon supports 15 community dispute resolution centers (CDRCs) in 24 Oregon counties through grant making, consultation, training, research, technical assistance, networking, and collaborative activities and initiatives. More than $1,400,000 in grants is awarded each biennium.
Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide grant management, technical and administrative support to Resolution Oregon, as well as to provide ongoing direct support for the administrator. CDRCs utilize the program assistant as a resource for information, technical assistance, and grant management purposes. This position ensures that available grant funds are administered properly, efficiently, and effectively; and works with the director and community program staff to promote quality community dispute resolution services in Oregon.
This position performs administrative support of moderate complexity requiring in-depth knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures. The work consists of independently performing a full range of standard and non-standard assignments and resolving a variety of non-recurring problems. This position will provide direct support to help ensure the integrity and success of this program. The Program Assistant may be required to travel periodically to provide administrative support for meetings throughout the state.

Minimum Requirements

The member will assist with monitoring endangered plants, creating botanical species lists, and surveying for aquatic and sensitive plants. Additional duties will include mapping and removing invasive plants (including hand-pulling and herbicide), assisting with nursery and hoop house operations, collecting and processing seed, working with youth groups, entering data, working with ArcGIS, processing plant collections, and other duties as assigned. Opportunities to cross train with other disciplines, such as wildlife, cultural, fisheries, and recreation will also be available. Public outreach support includes developing presentations, pamphlets, and curriculum for public consumption to learn about Willamette Valley cultural resources and how the public can protect and preserve them. SI offers peer-facilitated study groups for students enrolled in historically-challenging courses, including the BA 21x, BI 22x, BI 23x, CH12x, CH 22x, CH 23x, and Physics 20x and 21x series, as well as individual courses such as BA 275, MTH 251/252/254, and MTH 111/112.
This student employee position will provide administrative assistance to the SI Coordinator and SI Assistant Coordinator for the AY 2026- 2027 school year, with training occurring in late Winter and Spring of 2026. The SI Program Assistant works 10-12 hours per week.
Duties include corresponding with students, SI Leaders, faculty, and staff; managing the SI registration website; helping with SI study table scheduling; participating in weekly administrative meetings; checking attendance records; developing reports; assisting with SI resource development and marketing of the program; and other administrative duties as assigned.
This position offers leadership and professional experience for students interested in academic support programs. The SI Program Assistant's ongoing employment in the current year and subsequent years is dependent upon positive and professional work performance as we as program funding. At times, an increase or a reduction in the number of work hours may occur due to work flow. This position is hourly and does not include graduate student tuition remission.

RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction to clients. RCC clients are often combative and have multiple mental or behavioral challenges. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as treatments such as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients.
Eligibility for a QMHA certification is preferred. You must have prior experience working with combative at-risk youth, preferably in a residential setting OR experience working in a challenging, high-paced environment that can be applicable to this line of work. The ability to maintain strong professional boundaries and confidentiality is a must. You must also be able to pass crisis intervention training within your first month of employment. The Regional Crisis Center uses specific manual restraints as specified by the state, and the ability to perform these restraints is essential to the position.

This recruitment will be used to fill 10 part-time (a maximum of 40 hours per week) Facilities Service Assistant positions for University Housing and Dining Services at Oregon State University. Facilities Services Assistants perform minor maintenance and custodial tasks in and around the residence halls. FSAs receive training necessary to facilitate repairs for window screens, blind unit repairs, pressure washing, moving furniture, loft kit/bed building, dispenser installation, and light bulb replacement. FSAs work as a team and individually to perform room turns and complete work orders, empty interior and exterior trash, and pick up cigarette butts around buildings using a leaf blower and by hand. FSAs work up to 40 hours per week during the summer. There will be a couple mandatory weekend shifts. Wage will be $15.15 per hour.
