Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide basic care such as feeding, cleaning, walking, and socialization for animals temporarily housed or transported within Lifesaving Center vehicles, buildings, or facilities.
* Deliver superior customer service; communicate (or develop communications) about and maintain knowledge of Best Friends and community partner programs.
* Work collaboratively with Best Friends' team members in all areas of operations to achieve lifesaving goals; follow Best Friends policies, procedures, and task lists for daily lifesaving outcome assignments, including accurate and timely communications, work completion, data entry, and recordkeeping.
* Maintain a safe workplace, value, and model safe work practices, adhering to organizational safety practices and rules, and communicating to leadership about unsafe practices and conditions.
Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of one year's experience working with animals providing basic veterinary care preferred, and an interest in veterinary medicine.

What this role entails
As a Psychological Resident within Family & Children's Services (FCS), a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals in the community, with a focus on underserved populations. Your role will include providing diagnostic evaluations which may range from clinical interview and record review to full psychological evaluation, and providing therapy services utilizing evidence-based practices. You will work collaboratively with your licensed supervisor and a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health issues, to promote recovery and well-being. The position is designed to fulfill postdoctoral supervision and experience requirements necessary for licensure as a psychologist in Oklahoma.
Specific duties and responsibilities
Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
ï· Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental
health needs, strengths, and challenges.
ï· Use diagnostic criteria from the DSM-5 or other relevant classification systems to
formulate accurate diagnoses.
ï· Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to gather information and
develop individualized treatment plans.
Psychotherapy and Counseling:
ï· Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services to clients, including cognitivebehavioral
therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational
interviewing (MI), and other modalities.

Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention:
ï· Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention services to clients
experiencing acute psychiatric crises or suicidal ideation.
ï· Develop safety plans and coordinate appropriate levels of care, including
hospitalization, if necessary, to ensure clients' safety and stabilization.
Collaborative Care Coordination:
ï· Work closely with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including
psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and peer support specialists, to
provide coordinated and integrated care.
ï· Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and
multidisciplinary rounds to review client progress and make recommendations for
ongoing care.
Documentation and Compliance:
ï· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment
plans, progress notes, and other clinical records in accordance with regulatory
requirements and agency policies.
ï· Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards of practice
governing mental health services, including HIPAA and Medicaid/Medicare

Required Education and Experience

What to expect on a given day as a Post-Doctoral Resident:
You will communicate and interact with a variety of personalities within and outside of the organization and cultivate professional working relationships with each.
You will conduct clinical interviews with caregivers, case managers, and any other pertinent members of a childs treatment team.
You will review client files including IEPs, previous psychological evaluations, and records to aid in completion of reports.

Responds to inquiries relating to requests from residents, visitors, and other personnel promptly and courteously within given time frames and established policy.
Is knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provides support to the residents according to their care plan. Contributes to the care planning process by providing the charge nurse or other care planning staff with specific information and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors promoting a homelike environment.
Fully understands all aspects of residents' rights, including the right to be free of restraints and free of abuse. Is responsible for promptly reporting to the charge nurse or administrative staff incidents or evidence of resident abuse or violation of residents' rights.
Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures, including thorough hand washing, use of disposable gloves where indicated and proper disposal of soiled materials. Also providing care that maintains each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents and by applying moisturizers to fragile skin and other areas.

Position Summary:
The Program Assistant, Learning Initiatives provides direct support to the Sr. Director of Learning and the Learning & Engagement division, assisting with cross-departmental initiatives, key museum education programs, and strategic projects that advance the museum's mission to inspire all learners through art, nature, architecture and wellness.

Principal Responsibilities:

Support the development of presentations, reports, and timelines for cross-team initiatives, including board updates, strategic planning documents, and grant-related projects.
Assist in coordination and logistics for Learning & Engagement programs and events (e.g., school partnership convenings, school visits, teacher institutes, public learning activations, supporting setup and hospitality, and helping ensure participants feel welcomed and cared for throughout the experience.)
Maintain organized systems for shared calendars, project timelines, deliverables, and communication across multiple Learning teams.
