Manages prescribed medication, performs physical health examinations, conducts preventive screening and care, develops and presents clear clinical impressions and recommendations that are specific and attainable. Develops and documents clear clinical formulations and medical treatment plans. Prescribes therapeutic interventions appropriate to identified problems. Administers drugs and biologicals as required by the Clinic. Demonstrates a basic knowledge of physical health concerns and effective medical interventions. Triages clinical emergencies and implements safety and consultation protocols. Utilizes evidence based and best medical practice. Monitors patients' self-care management and self-care skills and provides prevention, wellness, and pertinent medical education. Provides requisitions for clinical studies, diagnostic tests, and laboratory studies. Evaluates and interprets results to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
