Position Summary:
The Residential Assistant (RA) is responsible for attending to all client-related needs during the scheduled work shift. This includes monitoring clients, completing all relevant documentation and making appropriate referrals, and interacting with clients in a trauma informed way.

Crawling, kneeling, climbing, cramped spaces and repeated bending occurs occasionally to frequently in the course of a day (i.e. toileting, loading bus, machinery control, working on same level as student, picking up trash, assisting student in bathroom)
Balance upper body and hand/wrist movement occur often to frequent in the course of a day (i.e. assist with student balance, coordination in movement, writing, grabbing, keyboards, reaching, stretching)

Work for the most part is performed indoors with some outdoor activity. Employee may occasionally be exposed to inclement weather during supervision and field trips. EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Tigard-Tualatin School District 23J and Oregon School Employees Association Chapter 51.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
This is a 9 month assignment on the E range of the Classified Job Schedule.
Actual days may vary dependent on the number of days students are in school or the size and needs of the classroom population.
The assignment of the step will be in compliance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement and range of pay is located in the current Classified Salary Schedule.
A new employee shall be allowed up to four (4) years of experience on the salary schedule, based on actual years of experience on a job of like responsibilites and skills. $20.39 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:
A Social Services Coordinator will partner with our Social Services Director at our Skilled Nursing facility team to aide residents and families requiring assistance. This position acts to meet those needs through individual and group social services programming. This position also promotes residents' potential during their stay and collaborates with physician and resident in preparation for discharge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interviews all new residents to assess their psychosocial needs
Performs admission and discharge planning coordination
Counsel's residents individually, or with family/support groups
Refers residents to needed services such as Dental, Optometry, Audiology, Podiatry, Psychology, and Psychiatry and other community health resources
The Social Services Coordinator will compile records and prepare reports such as theft and loss
Coordinates with nursing department to meet the residents' optical, dental, and audiological needs and arranges transportation
Prepares timely documentation of social service interventions and assessments in resident's chart
Attends resident care meetings, rehabilitation and utilization review, quality assurance, and department head meetings
Complete appropriate sections of MDS timely

Position Overview:
Residential Assistants (RA's) are responsible for attending to all youth-related needs during their scheduled work shift. * Facilitate medication administration to youth as indicated; maintain medication administration records (MAR) and properly document distribution of all prescribed, over the counter, and as needed medications.
* Complete regular safety checks for youth
