* Coordinates the events and programs for the annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month every October that includes announcement and advertising of month long activities, mobilization of participants, educational sessions, and VA IPV Assistance programs.
* Develops a data monitoring system to measure the efficacy of the program. The incumbent collects, analyzes and reports program data to local management, VISN Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program Coordinator Lead and the National Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program, Care Management and Social Work Service, Office of Patient Care Services.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to six months related experience preferred and/or training in direct service with older adults, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Refer to specific state regulations for qualifications required to assist with medications and direct care duties. Knowledge of dementia, particularly of the Alzheimer's type, is helpful.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements

Prior to obtaining caregiver certification, must provide care under the direction of a Certified Resident Care Associate, Lead Resident Care Associate, Resident Care Coordinator, or Health & Wellness Director.

OVERVIEW
This role involves preparing reports, completing participant intake and check-out processes, monitoring safety, and maintaining facility cleanliness.
