We're currently seeking candidates for our Imaging Residency at all locations! Our accelerated program of study includes all didactic structured education as well as all clinical experience. Hands on experience is obtained while receiving compensation and benefits, and no tuition fees are required. Programs offered include CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Cardiovascular CT. This program is available to new graduate Imaging students or Imaging professionals seeking to gain experience in a different modality.
JOB PURPOSE: Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic images and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attends and completes all required didactic training courses
2. Resident must complete all required supervised imaging procedures and document them according to ARRT guidelines
3. Performs and addresses the following tasks in each procedure:
Patient preparation and education
Provide for patient comfort and cooperation by familiarizing patient with the equipment and procedure, stressing the need for cooperation, and by providing general psychological support
Solicit and record patient clinical history relevant to the performance and interpretation of imaging procedure
Document clinical information for radiologists
Responds to patient questions
Imaging procedures
Selecting equipment appropriate to the patient and procedure
Select appropriate exposure factors
Position Patient and equipment to provide desired imaging
Evaluate images to ensure they contain proper identification and are of diagnostic quality
4. Resident must actively participate in the performance, evaluation and recording of all quality control tests outlined by the ARRT
5. Accurately follows all established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
6. Adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
7. Resident must become certified by the ARRT within 3 months of completing training program.

1. Must be able to operate many types of imaging equipment.
2. Must deliver SAFE care in accordance with the Alwaysafe program.

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide specialized support to the Department of Internal Medicine Residency Program. This position works in concert with the Residency Program Coordinator 2 and the Residency Program Director in the day-to-day management of the program to include residency scheduling management, empanelment management, credentialing coordinator as well as responsible for management of internal medicine preliminary recruitment, resident recruitment, resident orientation and monitoring of resident educational experiences.

Manage resident schedules and rotations, to include leave records. Assist in the recruitment and selection process for resident applicants, to include using ERAS. Process paperwork for and coordinate orientation and onboarding process for incoming residents. Organize educational and social events for the program. Track conference attendance. Participate in activities and events outside of normal working hours/days, as necessary.
Administrative Support
Provide secretarial support to IM residency program director, associate program directors, and IM residents, and general assistance to the residency program office to include but not limited to: maintain outlook calendars, coordinate meetings to include managing meeting agendas and minutes, direct calls for office, assist and direct visitors, distribute mail, create PowerPoint presentations and flyers for meetings and events, maintain office files, prepare and process check requests and IDRs, process recommendation letters, coordinate leave and process travel and leave paperwork for faculty and residents, manage budgets, facilitate and maintain resident licensing and credentialing, and update program databases.

The general responsibilities of Resident Summer Staff personnel will be to work hard and serve Christ at Shocco Springs by being a committed member of the Shocco Team, performing the duties of their assigned position(s), helping facilitate the change-out of campus facilities, and participating in RSS programs. Resident Summer Staff will also openly profess to be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and always maintain Christian behavior to the best of their abilities. Position is for the summer season as established annually by leadership, not to exceed 119 days.
Summary of Essential Functions
A commitment to serving guests, co-workers, and God as part of the Shocco Team to the best of their abilities.
Perform to the best of their abilities all duties of their assigned position(s).
Perform change-out(s) of campus facilities as needed.
