We are seeking a highly qualified, motivated real-estate leasing agent in the Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery counties. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience with an Apartment Association member company. He or she should be prepared to demonstrate proven and measurable results. This is a fast-paced, high intensity role in a dynamic work environment and the ideal candidate will have appropriate background skills.

Critical factors in consideration for this role include strong leasing and sales experience, good organizational ability, and effective delegation. The right candidate must be outgoing and self-starting, skilled at initiating relationships, following up and overcoming objections. Outstanding customer service and sales skills are essential to the position. Weekend hours and scheduling flexibility are requirements for this position. We have an exciting opportunity for a Resident Services Director who will direct and oversees essential services that provide residents and guests with fulfilling and independent lives. Additionally, you are the coach of team members that provide these essential services. This will include ConnectedLiving, Community Services, Volunteer Services, Independent Living Reception Services, and Care Transitions.

One area of focus will be hiring and training all resident services staff: maintaining staffing levels while overseeing training, development, motivation, and ongoing management of team members. This role will manage all aspects of planning, organizing, and executing activities and special events designed to enhance the quality of life physically, mentally, spiritually, socially, and emotionally for residents and guests. You will also collaborate with IDT to identify at-risk residents in need of social or psychological support. Providing strong supervisory, performance management, leadership, and coaching skills for team members will also be needed.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Behavioral Health, Activities/Recreation, or related field preferred

Four years' experience working with older adults in a senior health-care setting (group home, skilled nursing facility, or adult day care) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

Supervisory and management experience required, in a health care environment are preferred. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Must be able to work flexible hours

Must be able to relate to residents, families, customers, and team members courteously and diplomatically under all circumstances

Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
