Intervention Specialist Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Plan Development: Create effective lesson plans that include accommodations and consultation with general education teacher as needed. Plans should accommodate various student levels, include procedures for assessing knowledge, outline the content standards addressed, and specify the curriculum used. Adapt the general education curriculum according to needs outlined in the IEP.
Supervision of Paraprofessionals: Oversee and direct paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom. While Program Supervisors and Site Administrators will assist in supervision, it is the teacher's primary responsibility in the classroom.
Implementation of PBIS Program: Manage the classroom's Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program, including tracking behavior points, maintaining the student store, and communicating with parents/guardians.
Classroom Management: Maintain a classroom environment that prioritizes student engagement and safety, implementing the behavior plan, modifying state-adopted curriculum, and employing strategies to effectively teach students with various disabilities.
IEP Meetings and Documentation: Attend IEP meetings for students assigned to the classroom. Write updates for each student's annual IEP in coordination with the state standards, school district expectations, and enter all IEP updates (Present Levels, BIP, ITP, and Goals) into the dedicated IEP documentation system prior to the meetings. Maintain documentation on IEP goals, student academic and social growth, prepare progress reports. Ensure documentation is accessible and provided upon request in a timely manner. Ensure confidentiality of records according to district and FERPA regulations.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff and outside agencies to effectively educate each student.
Assistive Technology: Support implementation and use of assistive technology including, but not limited to, augmentative communication devices.
Instructional Planning: Plan instruction and design learning experiences based on data. Conduct summative assessments with each student in accordance with IEP goal reporting timelines. Administer, transfer, and interpret educational assessment data for supporting educational decision making and goal development.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development activities as directed by the district including teacher and all staff trainings.
Intervention Specialist Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Valid Intervention Specialist License from the Ohio Department of Education (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive (preferred))
Experience: Teaching experience with students with a variety of learning, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.
Background Check: Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance).

SCOPE OF ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Residential Services, the Counselor, Residential Services, is responsible for assessing the treatment needs of patients in residential SUD treatment, implementing an appropriate treatment plan, and evaluation of patient behavior and outcomes. * Maintain positive and effective relations with students. Provide guidance for students to achieve a positive attitude and proper behavior in the dormitory living situation, and to accomplish their goals and objectives.
* Determine and recommend student visits to the counselor and health staff as appropriate.
* Supervise, direct, and monitor dorm and student activities, as designated, including dorm government and peer court.
* Assist with dorm and recreational activities both on and off Center.
* Transport students, as needed, to and from recreational activities, airports, stores, bus stations, etc.
* Prepare the morning report; pass list, and other administrative correspondence relating to students, including evaluations.
* Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory. Complete dorm and room inspections as assigned. Identify and communicate dorm maintenance needs to dorm supervisor or designee. Recommend or requisition supplies to provide needs for dorm living and safety of students.
* Conduct group counseling sessions and dorm meetings in accordance with the schedule. As assigned, participate in and conduct orientation activities as well as other Center committees and activities.
* Maintain dormitory and individual student files. Ensure files are complete, updated, and contain all required documentation.
* Participate in student training, as appropriate, and evaluate student progress as part of interdepartmental teams.
* Serve as CDO when assigned by management in absence of social development manager or dorm supervisors.
* Maintain accountability of students and property. Adhere to standard safety practices.
* Cultivate and maintain a positive Center climate that is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, in order to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Autism Treatment Specialist is part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals who are expected to provide high quality service provision, data collection, therapeutic intervention, and instruction in individual and/or small group formats. The Autism Treatment Specialist provides direct service and support to the clients that reside in the Monarch Boarding Academy programs and assist the client in acquiring the skills that will assist them in their transition to a step-down level of care. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Deliver and facilitate behavior intervention and response plans and instructional program designs that are based on Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) goals and objectives, in coordination with the Monarch School.
Observe, describe, and document client data regarding client behavior presentation and skills targeted for acquisition by utilizing a variety of different measurements for data collection to support and add to clinical objectives and outcomes including but not limited to descriptive analysis, rate/duration of target behaviors, level of support/help, and trials-to-criterion.
Provide care and support for all clients by providing individualized supervision and support to complete personal care activities, advocating for their needs, teach them and assist them as necessary in activities of daily living, and help in the management of their clothes and personal belongings
Utilize structured activity schedules as developed by the treatment team in order to support the clients in organizing and navigating through their daily routines with predictability afforded through these types of visual supports.
Participate as a team member through effective communication with co-workers and leadership team members and following all guidelines and procedures that have been developed to be used with our clients based on assessments that have been conducted.
Lead planned daily activities and routines to optimize progress towards treatment programs and contribute to the clients' continued development.
Protect the clients from physical and emotional harm emanating from themselves, others, or the environment including the use of Safety-Care crisis management strategies and interventions, using physical management procedures as necessary for safety due to an imminent risk of harm present to the person or others.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations including but not limited to client and/or staff injury, missing clients, and crises situations in which a client is engaging in dangerous, unsafe behavior(s).
Strictly follow treatment guidelines in order to develop and foster skill acquisition of universal communication responses that replace previously engaged in responses to communicate needs including but not limited to disruptive, destructive, and/or dangerous behavior.
Teach the clients and model independence in activities of daily living, the use of effective functional communication, emotion regulation, self-management, and cooperation and acceptance skills.
Develop a keen knowledge and understanding of each of the clients and their typical presentation in order to ascertain any medical or physiological changes that may occur.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.

Job Title: Coordinator, Social Media, DPAE Physical Location: Kent, OH (hybrid work schedule) Salary: $41,750 - $45,000 Basic Function: Support the strategy, management, content development and reporting for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement's (DPAE) social media and digital communications to best engage the university's alumni, donors and other key constituencies to advance relationships and secure philanthropic support. Reports to Senior Associate Director, Communications, DPAE.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Coordinate and support day-to-day digital outreach efforts for DPAE, including alumni/donor social media as it relates to online events, online giving campaigns, alumni news, university news and other relevant content as part of larger strategic outreach from the division.
Develop and manage social media content and digital projects to support DPAE programs and increase affinity with alumni and donors. Coordinate paid social media advertising, content and budgets for all alumni and donor campaigns/projects.
Ensure all paid digital/social advertising adheres to the budget requirements of the project and follows university protocol for billing.
Ensure all social media accounts, groups and pages correspond to modern best practice, are managed correctly across all platforms, browsers and devices and are current with industry trends.
Work with DPAE Communications project managers to create social and digital marketing strategies on behalf of schools and divisions across campus for alumni and donor projects, including alumni/donor specific channels for intercollegiate athletics.
Work with graphic designers and video producers as needed to build/develop properly branded social media content within DPAE's suite of digital products.
Adhere to communications calendar when negotiating scheduling conflicts for various digital outreach initiatives.
Provide regular reports through social media platforms to help the program leadership and project managers understand which campaigns and platforms perform best, and assist in their optimization with A/B testing to increase action rates across all programs.
Provide assessments and recommendations for future alumni engagement projects.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field and one year experience working in a communications or digital marketing environment which includes developing print or digital marketing materials, and social media management. Must be able to occasionally work during evenings and weekends. *NOTE - experience must equate to one year of full time experience

SUMMARY: To provide a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services to a varied client population. Services are provided in-home, in-office or within the community. The position is primarily responsible for the provision of direct client care services under a LPCC-S. Provides individual counseling, group counseling, family/couples counseling, and case management and support to clients engaged in outpatient treatment services with the counseling department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct psychiatric diagnostic assessments to determine medical necessity.
* Develop, implement, and update Individual Service Plans with the client in accordance with OAC standards and FCS policy/procedure.
* Provide psychotherapy/counseling services to clients through individual, group, and/or family methods.
* Review and update progress, and diagnoses in accordance with OAC standards and FCS policy/procedure to ensure continued provision of proper and necessary services.
* Maintain client records in accordance with OAC standards and F&CS policy/procedure.
* At a minimum, achieve and maintain the Agency's established productivity standards.
* Coordinate and communicate with other community agencies to insure effective inter-agency cooperation.
* Maintain current knowledge of all applicable FCS policies/procedures and function according to these standards.
* Enter and maintain daily schedule into computer as required.
* At a minimum, achieve and maintain the Agency's established productivity standards. Counseling Intern will be responsible to maintain a minimum of 50% productivity.

The Behavioral Health Safety Specialist is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe environment for patients, families, and staff. They will conduct proactive and continuous safety rounding in patient care areas. They will also assist as requested by clinical staff in interventions with patients demonstrating escalated, threatening, or aggressive behaviors utilizing evidenced based de-escalation and aggression management techniques.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a safety expert in patient care areas. This includes a strong knowledge of and adherence to established safety policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Perform continuous safety rounds in patient care areas and proactively identify and communicate with clinical staff any patient/family dynamics that could result in an unsafe environment.
Develop supportive interpersonal relationships with individuals and groups of patients in accordance with treatment plan goals.
Respond to staff requests for assistance with patients demonstrating escalated, threatening, or aggressive behaviors.
Demonstrate expertise in the application of de-escalation techniques and interventions.

Initiate debriefing sessions and provide feedback to staff after seclusion and restraint situations and any crisis.
Partner with Public Safety and Safety Technicians in monitoring and maintaining a safe treatment environment for patients, families, and staff. Intervene during escalating situations applying skills and expertise to reduce the likelihood of physical altercations.
Assess for changes in patient behaviors and provide assistance with early intervention.
Document patient/family safety encounters in medical record/progress note.
