Your role as a Crisis Stabilization - Lead Residential Counselor: CHD'S Community Behavioral Health Center offers both a Youth (13-17) and Adult (18+) Crisis Stabilization Unit. Crisis stabilization is a short-term, voluntary program offering intensive behavioral health stabilization as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. Services include bur are not limited to: crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, nursing care, individual and group therapy, peer support, short-term treatment planning, discharge planning, and coordination of care with service providers. The Lead Residential Counselor will lead the shift while providing support to direct care staff and clients.
