What You'll Do:
Provide on-site behavioral health services in primary care clinic.
Provide consultation with Providers to aid or assist in the primary care of patients.
Serve as primary mental health Provider or ancillary health Provider as needed.
Assist care team with ICD-11 diagnoses, adding mental health differential diagnoses and contextual and relational perspectives.
Work across disciplines to provide equitable biopsychosocial-spiritual care, intervening in support of team and patient goals.
Use culturally informed and evidence-based literature for shared decision-making around health behaviors and assist with navigating the healthcare system.
Work in a closely organized, interdisciplinary team on treatment plans, patient advocacy, and clinic processes.
Conduct individual and group training for staff in areas of expertise and to community organizations as requested by supervisor.
Develop research-related funding proposals.
Partner with other Providers to triage referrals.
Provide coverage and backup for other Providers.
May assign patients to team clinicians.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), American Psychological Association (APA) and YVFWC requirements.
Represent the program at meetings as requested by Behavioral Health or clinic leadership.

Qualifications
Clinical Psychologist Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
Experience Preferred: One year's clinical experience working within a multidisciplinary team in primary care or other medical settings, providing diagnostic and psychological assessments for primary care-based positions. One year's clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in specialty behavioral health settings.
Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist within the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
Master's Level Therapist Requirements
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Experience Required: Two years of postgraduate/master's experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance; such experience must have been gained under the supervision of a mental health professional.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire. One of the following licenses is required for this position (must apply for within one week of hire if the license is not current):

Provide clinical services to children, adults and families. This would include but is not limited to screening, assessment, individual and group therapy, consultation, and all other allowed clinical services.
Actively participate in joint case planning and coordination with agency employees and relevant agency contractors. Act as a liaison between clients and other agencies. Act as a client advocate when appropriate.
Actively participate in group and individual supervision sessions.
Work with other staff and community representatives to initiate new programs, reviews, evaluates and revises existing programs as necessary.

Complete all paperwork in a way that is professional, clinically sound and timely as prescribed by the OAR's and other pertinent guidelines. Required to ensure that all paperwork is present, and/or the client record is well maintained.
Attend trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. as directed by administration and use the information gathered to benefit the agency and the customers.
Provide intensive children's treatment services.
Utilize agency software/computer systems to prepare current client records of treatment and reports as necessary and required.
Transport clients as required
Administer forms for urinalysis testing (UA's), provide accurate information on the UA's to clients, in some cases observes the UA, and record all pertinent information.
Must report all abuse to appropriate legal office, complete all necessary paperwork and investigations, and develop safety plans as required.

MHS IV - Either a doctorate degree from an accredited college in social work, psychology or other human service related field is required, or a master's degree with accompanying certification as an Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
MHS III - Requires a Master's degree from an accredited college in social work, psychology or other human service related field.

RCC, or the Regional Crisis Center, is a subacute residential facility where youth are placed directly from the Department of Human Services. RCC provides residential living facilities, mental health treatment, family counseling, substance use disorders treatment, and academic instruction to clients. RCC uses verbal de-escalation tactics as well as treatments such as seclusion rooms and full-body restraints when necessary to ensure the safety of our clients.

Position Summary
The Social Services Assistant supports the holistic development and success of Job Corps students by providing guidance, resources, and advocacy. This role assists the Social Services team in addressing student needs related to personal, social, and emotional well-being, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that fosters growth, employability, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in providing counseling and support services to students regarding personal, social, and behavioral concerns
• Help coordinate referrals to community resources, healthcare providers, and support agencies
• Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions, progress, and case notes in compliance with Job Corps standards
• Support workshops and group sessions on topics such as conflict resolution, life skills, and wellness
• Collaborate with center staff (education, career training, residential advisors) to ensure integrated student support
• Monitor student progress and provide follow-up to encourage retention and program completion
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and Job Corps policies
Qualifications
• Associate's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
• Prior experience working with youth or young adults in social services, counseling, or education settings
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings or weekends, as needed

Mad Science is currently hiring for full\-time summer lead and assistant camp instructors from June through August! Camps run from 9:00 \- 3:00 pm, so you could be out of work as early as 3:15\/3:30pm almost every weekday this summer!
Facilitating Mad Science Camp programs requires high energy and working with children. But, you don't have to be a scientist to work with us! We'll teach you everything you need to know and all the Mad Science tricks before sending you off on your own.
Working with children from 1st\-6th grade, you will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative camp program. Our staff is made up of teachers, ed\-techs, retired teachers, artists, farmers, aspiring teachers, people seeking diverse work experience, and all of the above!
As an Assistant staff to our Lead Instructor, you will help facilitate our science camp by helping with hands\-on projects, behavior management, kid check in and out procedures, outdoor games, and more. You will work with our Lead staff to create a fun and safe and environment for our campers.
Your daily hours come to about 6.5\-6.75 hours. After the first week, we build proficiency in our process. Please note, at our Portland location we run Aftercare, this runs until 5:30pm and we provide additional compensation. We have some weeks built in as days off, with the options to assist others or take the week off.

A dependable car as you will be required to commute to different locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire
Commit to the entire summer schedule. Some camp topics offer 1\-2 weeks off during the summer season.

Preferred:
Experience working with children ages 5\-12
Classroom and behavioral management skills

Science Course Work (You do NOT need a science background, but interest in science and learning is crucial!)
Experience working with special needs

Lead \/Assistant Instructor for Camps: $110\-$143 per day week + Set Travel Compensation
Camp Dates: June 20th\- August 26th (some start the week after)
Orientation is required, but flexible.

Orientation Compensation: $80
PAID Training: Additional training will be given per topic before camp start dates.
Training Compensation: $18\/hour
Instructors teaching in Portland will be required to do AfterCare 1\-2 times per week while at Chevrus School. This will be a few times per instructor for the entire duration of summer. The schedule will be determined before the start of camp. Compensation is an additional $25\/hour per aftercare that may go until 5:30.
