SUMMARY The Board Certified Behavior Analyst develops behavioral plans and provides behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic services to program participants. This schedule is 2pm-10pm. Must be able to work weekends.
Purpose & Impact:
Key responsibilities include the direct supervision of youth residents, providing quality care, ensuring a safe and secure environment and transporting and accompany/supervising residents on outside activities. This is a direct service delivery position at a primary location, but the position may work at any one of a number of regional group homes within a reasonable radius as shift needs arise.
These group homes house adolescent teens who have aggressive behaviors. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who would be comfortable working with at risk adolescent males and females. The ideal candidate would also not be intimidated by youth who have been impacted by abuse, neglect, and trauma. Essential Functions:
Provide supportive environment for youth.
Assists children with preparing and eating meals, taking baths, maintaining hygiene, administering medication, and performing other daily routine tasks.

Provide daily security and up-keep of facility.
Develops, plans, coordinates, and participates in daily recreational and social activities, including outdoor programs and physical exercise.

Conducts all necessary direct utilization management activities for behavioral health plan members, pre-certification and authorization of care for both psychiatric and chemical dependency services, all necessary concurrent review with hospitals and mental health centers, discharge and aftercare planning and referrals for continued outpatient care.
Review ABA therapy service requests for medical necessity based on clinical guidelines
Apply expertise in behavior analysis to make determinations on treatment plans, prior authorizations, re-authorizations, and concurrent reviews.
Maintain current knowledge of ABA best practices, managed care policies, and state/federal regulations.
Reviews prior authorization requests for medical necessity and appropriateness, utilizing standardized review criteria; coordinates with the BH Medical Director/Physicians for those requests outside of standard review criteria.

Reviews treatment plans and consults with medical director regarding medical necessity criteria for continued inpatient stay. Facilitates community placements, agency linkages and coordinates discharge planning, aftercare, referral and follow-up of inpatients in collaboration with C3 case managers.
Maintains compliance with federal and state guidelines, as well as contractual requirements as determined by line of business; this includes coordinating with the Medical Director to ensure requests are processed timely.
Obtains necessary documentation and ensures completion of assigned caseload by addressing discrepancies and following up until a determination is achieved.
Serves as a liaison between the Medical Director, physicians and office staff in resolving prior authorization questions, issues and problems; communicates denial determinations to providers when indicated.
Performs evaluation and concurrent monitoring of appropriate utilization of resources including, but not limited to, hospitalizations, outpatient services and long-term rehabilitation.

Job Description
The purpose of the Re-Entry Admissions Counselor is to re-enroll and advise students who have previously dropped from the campus. The Re-Entry Admissions Counselor follows standardized university admission guidelines and procedures for re-entry.
Re-Entry Admissions Counselors work closely with the Financial Aid department and Academic department to identify obstacles that are hindering the student from re-enrolling; an action plan is developed and instituted to assure a smooth transition back to school.
Re-Entry Admissions Counselors accomplish this through:
Utilizing drop reports to target the specific population of drop and drop/reentry students.
Ensure re-entry students have taken all the necessary steps to re-enroll.
Provides re-entry students an additional resource to assist in finalizing their degrees.
Re-Entry Admissions Counselor's must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with experience in customer service or career counseling.
Re-Entry Admissions Counselor's must also have:
High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong computer and telephone skills.
Ability to work independently and multi-task.
Must have a general knowledge of the higher education industry.
