About the role
We are seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, and business-minded Lead Commercial Counsel on the Legal & Compliance Team. You are a sharp self-starter that is eager to take an ownership role in scaling Rippling's commercial legal function to be best-in‑class, while simultaneously counseling on complex strategic initiatives and getting deals done efficiently and effectively.
This is a highly visible, strategic role requiring both strong leadership and hands‑on execution. You will report to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate, and collaborate closely with leaders across Legal & Compliance, Sales, Business Development, Revenue Operations, Procurement, Product, Real Estate, Finance, and Security.
What you will do
Advise on a variety of commercial matters, including enterprise SaaS agreements, strategic alliances, channel partnerships, customer negotiations, and vendor relationships
Mentor and develop a small commercial team supporting Rippling's global business
Partner with our Sales, Business Development, and other GTM teams to develop, refine, and manage Rippling's commercial counseling and contracting function
Develop and refine enablement tools (e.g. collateral, playbooks, training, templates, negotiation strategies)
Drive consistency, predictability, and scalability across Rippling's global commercial contracting motions
Navigate complex global regulatory frameworks to create scalable and innovative solutions to support our products and services
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Privacy, Security, Product, Engineering, and Finance) on development and documentation of new features and services
What you will need
7+ years of commercial contracting experience, including 3+ years in-house experience
Law degree (J.D. or equivalent)
Prior in‑house experience at a high‑growth SaaS or technology company strongly preferred
Deep expertise in technology transactions, including SaaS licensing, data integrations, strategic alliances, procurement and vendor negotiations, and channel and reseller programs, as well as familiarity with AI, privacy, and cybersecurity considerations
Demonstrated ability to lead or mentor attorneys or legal staff
Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice

PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Create trusting and supportive relationships with residents/members through regular presence in community spaces and events.
Develop schedule for one-on-one sessions with members. Individualize treatment plans with members *Deliverables would be dependent on-site location.
Group activities, special outings or gatherings on site, that support resident/member's healing and wellness.
Coordinate with site staff to lead cultural wellness activities that are accessible to all members/residents and incorporate a variety of traditional practices such as sweat lodge, wellbriety groups, talking circles, drum groups, and proper protocols to gather and use of traditional medicines, etc.
Assist and support on site staff with de-escalation and crisis intervention as requested and needed.
Assist organizational leadership as needed in building the network of traditional healers who can provide specific ceremonial support and guidance for residents/members as they request.
Work with the Chief Traditional Officer and Executive Director to develop culturally appropriate pre and post surveys for resident/member engagement in TMH programming that include assessment of housing stability and overall sense of health and wellness of residents/members.
Ensure reporting requirements are met via pre/post survey delivery and attendance at TMH groups and activities.
Develop a CSC approved network, of clinical mental health and substance use disorder treatment providers for external referral as requested by resident/members.
Manage & support the harvesting or acquiring of traditional medicines for wellness activities as well as the proper use and preparation of medicines.
Participate in regular TMH program check ins and team meetings as requested by supervisor.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Under the direction and supervision of the BHS Manager, the Supervisor, Behavioral Health Specialist oversees the work and supervision of assigned Behavioral Health Specialist staff. This position will have both leadership and direct care responsibilities and duties. Supervisor responsibilities (20-25%) include onboarding and training, scheduling, timesheet management and performance management of assigned staff. Direct care responsibilities (75-80%) include performing all regularly assigned Behavioral Health Specialist duties. The Supervisor, BHS actively collaborates with the Charge Nurse and other members of the shift to ensure the unit runs safely and efficiently.
* With support and guidance from BHS Manager and other clinical leadership, directs, supervises, and evaluates work of assigned Behavioral Health Specialist staff.
* Participates in interview and selection of Behavioral Health Specialists applicants.
* Responsible for onboarding and training of new hires under their supervision, including completion of the 90-day Competency Checklists.
* Maintains adequate staffing of assigned team to ensure an accurate schedule and proper staff to patient ratios. Partners with BHS Management and other BHS supervisors as needed to ensure staffing is adjusted accordingly to meet business Accurately assesses staffing needs and increases staffing as necessary during high census times or cover PTO and decreases staffing as needed during low census times. Limits overtime as much as possible through use of Pool staff.

* Responsible for oversight of BHS staff on assigned shift.

We are looking for energized and passionate Residential Counselors to manage basic day-to-day operations at our Permanent Supportive Housing Projects. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Holt International finds and supports permanent, loving families for children who are orphaned, abandoned or at serious risk of separation from their family. The master's level social worker represents Holt in their community and ensures the successful adjustment of child and family by conducting an assessment of the family, and providing appropriate services throughout the adoption process. The master's level social worker works cooperatively with families, the Branch Office and Adoption Teams headquartered in Eugene, Oregon. Note: The Adoption Social Worker is primarily a home-based position. The Adoption Social Worker position requires travel (most often by car) to different locations within the assigned area to complete the essential functions of the position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (to be completed within timeframes outlined by the Branch Director):
1. Determines a family's ability and capacity to parent an adopted child by conducting pre-home study meetings as requested, reviewing and assessing agency-requested information, evaluating the family's knowledge and perceptions of adoption, teaching adoption education courses as needed, and conducting psycho-social assessments of family members.
2. Contributes to the delivery of high-quality adoption services by producing adoption home studies and post placement reports that comply with provided guidelines and meet current agency, state, country and USCIS requirements.
3. Provides support and case management of all assigned families by maintaining quarterly contacts throughout process, communicating information to the family, referring family to appropriate community support systems when necessary and documenting all correspondence in Holt's database.
4. Prepares family for travel and assists with post placement adjustment by providing training and identifying resources available to help meet the child's needs and aid in the child's adjustment to the family. Conduct home visits as required by state law and country program guidelines, assist in early identification of problematic issues, and make a determination regarding the stability and appropriateness of the placement.
5. Assures child's physical and emotional well-being and eases family's adjustment by providing counseling to the child and family and/or helping arrange for counseling with a clinician outside the agency if needed. In case of an adoption disruption or dissolution, maintain relationship with family to ensure transition plan is developed that meets the child's needs. Assist child and family with transition of child to new placement.
6. Contributes to public knowledge about Holt and supports Holt programs by participating in activities arranged by Holt including picnics or parent groups, representing Holt at adoption meetings, coalitions and organizations, and performing other outreach activities as appropriate.
7. Maintains professional knowledge by attending relevant seminars and course work, keeping informed about State regulations, legislation, adoption issues and child-related issues overseas; maintaining license, if required.

Community Crisis Responder 2
Residential counselor job in Seattle, WA
Community Assisted Response & Engagement (CARE) is hiring Community Crisis Responder II's as part of the expansion of the Community Crisis Response (CCR) Unit. These positions will be responsible for being the first-line responder as a part of a team with other CCR team members and will report to a Community Crisis Responder Supervisor.
CARE manages Seattle's 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency response, working with other Public Safety Departments, including Seattle Police and Seattle Fire, to ensure a safe and healthy community. CARE expands the city's ability to enhance public safety through Dual Dispatch, which provides additional mental health professionals to respond to people experiencing non-violent mental health crises or quality of life concerns.
Seattle 9-1-1 processes more than 900,000 telephone calls for service annually, the majority of which result in the dispatch of police, fire, rescue, and Community Crisis Responders. The CCR Units operate on shifts to ensure citywide coverage seven days a week. Community Crisis Responders will be scheduled for 40 hours a week with the potential for overtime.
* Lead and handle more complex crisis intervention level cases to individuals who have come to the attention of Seattle 9-1-1.
* Provide guidance and consultation to Community Crisis Responder I staff.
* Manage communications equipment to maintain contact with dispatchers and other personnel.
* Complete assessments of assigned clients through personal interviews to determine if or what assistance is necessary to achieve and/or maintain mental or health sufficiency.

* Requires a master's in social work, psychology, or related field.
* A minimum of 2-year experience working with individuals with mental, behavioral, substance abuse or emotional health concerns (or a combination of education and or training and or experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of the class).
* Current Washington State driver's license.
* Selected candidates are required to pass a background check.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
* Working experience with DSHS workers, chemical dependency treatment providers, mental health providers, healthcare providers, shelter providers, landlords, detox centers, medical clinics and other community programs which may support vulnerable participants.
* Effective communication skills including written, active listening, and non-verbal communication.
* Effective skills in case investigation and management, evaluation of facts/circumstances and clients and crisis management.
* High cultural and emotional intelligence. Strong commitment to dignity and respect for all persons.
* License from the WA State Dept of Health as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker or equivalency.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
* Work is partly performed in a busy 24/7 call center environment.
* Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.
* Required to work nights, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
* Required to work rotating shifts.
* Required to be exposed to adverse weather conditions.
* Exposed to toxic / hazardous / biohazard substances.
* Required to operate automotive vehicles.
* Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Work involves sensitive contact with people who are in crisis and / or may be utilizing substances.
Compensation and Benefits: This position is a Represented position and is part of the City of Seattle Step Progression pay program. The full salary range (Step 1-5) for this position is $51.29, $53.27, $55.32, $57.54, $59.81 per hour.
