Role Overview
As a Home Visitor, you are responsible for ensuring required services are delivered to enrolled children, pregnant women, and their families by way of building trusting relationship that create a safe, positive environment for children and families to grow and develop skills related to self-sufficiency and school readiness. As a Home Visitor you are required to work both independently and as part of a team. You must possess the capability to problem solve, handle crisis and work with diverse populations in a non-biased manner.
Key Responsibilities
Partner: Work with families to cooperatively plan 90-minute, weekly home visits, providing comprehensive services to children, pregnant women and families, including developing individual child goals, family goals and planning socialization.
Professionalism: Comply with program confidentiality policies concerning personally identifiable information about children, families, and other staff members and must maintain professional boundaries with enrolled children and families at all times.
Implement: Implement curriculum, supplements, screenings, and ongoing assessments with fidelity.
Educate: Respectfully educate families on child development and the significance of routine care as it relates to medical care, dental health, mental health, nutritional health and school readiness.
Monitor: Create systems that allow for accurate tracking and follow up regarding the provision of services to families, including accurate and timely data entry into various data systems so that others needing information can access when needed.
Evaluate: Review data related to child outcomes, school readiness benchmarks, as well as child and family goals, assessing progress.
Collaboration: Develop relationships with community partners as a means for linking families to services as well to
recruit eligible participants for the 0-5 Head Start Program.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records as assigned as well as reporting all suspected child abuse and neglect.
Professional Development: Actively participate in professional development to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Ability to communicate effectively and positively and work collaboratively with others including staff, families, agency representatives, service providers and community organizations in a non-judgmental way.
Ability to plan and follow through.
A criminal records background check, including fingerprint checks.
A valid Michigan driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Your Job as a Substance Use Counselor:
The Substance Use Counselor is instrumental in our patient's treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. Substance Use Counselors provide high quality, compassionate care through various mediums which include both individual and group counseling sessions.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in both individual and group counseling sessions.
Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient's recovery.
Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.
Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient.
Initial assessments as well as follow up assessments.
Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in social or health services field required;

Job Summary:
Supervises residents and ensures them a safe and secure environment. Processes resident intake. Documents all required resident personal information. Conducts personal searches of residents. Logs all resident personal items and stores any items not allowed in the detention center away from residents until they are no longer living at the detention center. Orients new residents and parents to the facility; explaining the philosophy, policies, procedures and program rules.
Education and Experience:
Two years of college (30 semester hours) towards a social science or human services related degree is required OR High School Diploma / GED Equivalent with two years of work experience in a child / adolescent care facility or closely related setting.
Bachelor's degree in a social science or human services field is preferred.
Current unencumbered Michigan Driver's License with no more than one traffic violation in the last 12 months.

What Will you Do?

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy to children and teens with ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, with an emphasis on practical skill-building.

Design and implement structured coaching interventions to improve focus, emotional regulation, and self-confidence.
Collaborate closely with medical providers and family systems to coordinate care and ensure holistic support.
Participate in the development of clinic-wide coaching initiatives, including group sessions and school readiness programs.
Maintain accurate, AI-assisted documentation that meets insurance billing standards.
Participate in ongoing clinical training and staff meetings to ensure alignment with clinic goals and patient-centered care models.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
Active Michigan license (LMSW, LPC) or limited license (LLMSW, LLPC) in good standing.
Experience working with children and adolescents with ADHD, ASD, or learning differences.
Strong understanding of executive functioning and behavioral strategies.
Comfort balancing therapy and coaching techniques within a clinical framework.
Eligible and willing to become credentialed with insurance panels.
