The environment of the office always feels like a high end type of space and the coworkers were friendly.
I was laid off twice for the same reason, company downsizing due to lack of funds. I have no trust left in the company to feel like I have enough job stability even though I was managing an offshore person as a senior then transferred to a new department, lost the offshore person, and got let go myself. We were told by upper management that if we had a "that's not in my job description" attitude that we should leave and that the first two round of lay offs that happened at the beginning of the year would be the last and then 4 more happened up until June.
