The company was formerly known as AbiBow US Inc. and changed its name to Resolute FP US Inc. in May, 2012. The company was founded in 1964 and is based in Catawba, South Carolina. Resolute FP US Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Resolute Forest Products Inc.
