Qualifications
Respiratory Care Practitioner II:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care School required. (Exception: A BS/A or higher degree and meeting the requisite courses as outlined by the NBRC to challenge the test and become CRT then RRT would also be acceptable if applicant was successful in obtaining a license to practice RC in Washington & had a RRT from the NBRC).
Must be Registered RCP (RRT) with the NBRC
Must be licensed by the State of Washington Department Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (LR). (Credentials in good standing)
CPR certification HCP (Health Care Provider Course only acceptable) must be current and maintained every 2 years.
Must be Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association and kept current
Must be Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association and kept current
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified by the American Heart Association within 6 months of taking position. NRP certification is only required for FTE staff. Per diem staff can choose to be NRP certified but are not required.
Acute care experience preferred.
Respiratory Care Practitioner III:
