Comprised of over 400 Respiratory team members, our Respiratory Care team provide a wide range of specialized services to support patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions in the hospital setting. About this Position:
Our Registered Respiratory Therapists administer all therapeutic, diagnostic, and mechanical modalities under the purview of Respiratory Care Services, for which the Therapist has demonstrated appropriate proficiency, and has been documented as competent to perform these procedures. All of the criteria-based duties within this document will be performed according to established policies, procedures and guidelines within the department and the hospital. Responsibility for the delivery of Respiratory Care to patients of all age groups, to include all therapeutic treatments, oxygen therapy, arterial blood gas draws and analysis, ventilator management, and airway management. May assess staff blood gas competencies if qualified as a "Technical Consultant".
Our Registered Respiratory Therapist Critical Care team membersare ACCS or NPS certified and function as an expert in critical care areas (pediatric, neonatal and adult critical care). They are utilized as a resource for less experienced staff. In order to qualify for a Registered Respiratory Therapist Critical Care position, you must have at least 2 years of critical care experience in addition to an Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification as appropriate to population served/specialty.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Respiratory Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, will manage the day-to-day clinical and program operations. Requires the ability to complete job responsibilities that maximizes clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and interdepartmental workflow. Assists manager in orientation of new employees, education, skills competency determination, performance improvement, problem solving and counseling, scheduling and special projects. Responsible for the maintenance of the ABG Lab in accordance with CAP and CLIA standards. Performs critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures and/or diagnostics through both physician directives and respiratory care protocols.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Full-time, NIGHTS. High Risk / NICU Transport team.**
**A transport respiratory therapist (RRT) is a registered respiratory therapist whom upon completion of the transport orientation provides comprehensive respiratory care to critically ill or injured neonate and children. The transport respiratory therapist, through the use of expanded clinical skills, is responsible for accurate assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in accordance with established protocols while on the transport and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), or Emergency Department. The RRT is responsible for the stabilization and care of patients during transport under the direction of designated physician or accepting provider. The transport RT is also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the hospital.**
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Associate Degree in Respiratory
+ RRT - NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist
+ BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
+ PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
+ NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
+ STABLE - must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
+ Completion of pediatric stabilization program
+ Successful completion of Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT) certification within 1 year of hire
+ NICU RT experience required
