One semester of college biology, chemistry, and advanced algebra preferred Experience: One year of allied health experience preferred. Essential Functions: Performs functions under supervision of a Registered Respiratory Therapist 1. Performs blood gas analysis. 2. Effectively recognizes equipment functionality status and appropriately troubleshoots equipment. 3. Performs blood gas quality control procedures and documents results appropriately. 4. Delivers medical gas tanks to hospital units. 5. Switches and changes tank banks in tank room, as well as large cylinders in other areas of hospital as needed. 6.
