About this position Provides high performance technical expertise, focused and specialized in life support measures, code response, and the care and diagnosis of both acute and chronic pulmonary disorders. Respiratory Therapists also provide a cross-divisional resource for clinical support and education in the Medical Center. Provides for the administration of airway management, mechanical ventilator application and management, therapeutic respiratory care services, oxygen and aerosol therapy, limited diagnostic services, near-patient testing (NPT), CPR, customer transport, customer education, and other special services as provided in the department scope of services. These services may include newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric customer groups, including acute and chronic care conditions.
