Assists with the development and review/revision of all PFT Lab Policies and Procedures. 4. Assists with the scheduling for all PFT-related areas including main PFT Labs and satellite clinics. 5. Shifts are generally 12 hours. About the Job: The Respiratory Care Lead is a clinical expert, responsible for oversight of the respiratory care team, ensuring smooth operations and the delivery of high-quality patient to care to all ages, including experience and clinical competence in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, during their assigned shift. The Respiratory Care Lead functions as an integral member of the departments management team providing clinical leadership, staff management, consultation and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team, utilizing evidence best practice to guide respiratory care. State of New Hampshire Respiratory care practitioner license required at date of hire. BLS certification required within 90 days from date of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire. Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials required. RRT-ACCS or, RRT-NPS or, RRT-AC-C credential required within one year of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)-Completed within 6 months of hire. Minimum of five (5) years of recent, clinical experience Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred. Expert clinical skills and knowledge to function independently in an advanced clinical role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Effective verbal and written communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment and appropriate to the patient populations served.
