Job Duties
The Assistant Service Center Manager would assist the Service Center Manager in overseeing the Service Technicians and the Automotive Service Center. The Assistant Service Center Manager will be responsible for:
Resolving customer issues
Providing technical assistance and training for service technicians and advisors
Supervising Service Center associates
Performing Technician responsibilities as needed
Demontrating awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver's license
Great communication skills
Prior Automotive Maintenance experience is preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Prior Retail experience preferred
Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
Able to attain an ASE Certification in A4 Steering and Suspension and A5 brakes within one year of hire date
Must possess or have the ability to obtain forklift certification
Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and co-workers

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Regional Director Operations, the General Manager will work closely with Senior Management to ensure strategic business objectives are achieved. They are responsible for ensuring that the complex is managed in a manner that contributes to the achievement of objectives established in the annual operating plans, execution of programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
To this end, the General Manager will provide effective leadership and support to their reporting Managers, playing a pivotal role in upholding a culture of teamwork, mutual support, and respect. Ensuring that the Canlan Sports complex is led in a manner that actively contributes to achieving the objectives set in their annual operating plan.
The General Manager must uphold a high standard of ethics and integrity in all interactions, taking personal accountability and setting positive examples for direct reports. Their past experience in the sports industry will play a pivotal role in their success.
Rate of Pay: $80,000-$90,000/year
Accountabilities
The General Manager is accountable for:

At least 5 years of in sports facility management, including strong program marketing experience and facility maintenance.
Entrepreneurial sales & business development skills (in a sports / recreational environment).
Possess strong business acumen. Able to view the business broadly and understand resource restraints placed on it by financial, team member, management, industry, sales, and other internal/external factors.
Experience with budget and business plan development
Strong and effective leadership. The ability to lead and motivate groups and individuals at the middle management level. Exhibits a firm, but friendly, hands-on management style. Must “lead by example” by effectively coaching and mentoring direct reports and evaluating teams to perform all tasks within their areas of responsibility. The ability to celebrate individual successes and balance that with team success and that of the rest of the company.

Responsibilities
Member referrals, marketing, and community outreach generate at least 50% of club tours necessary to achieve new member enrollment goals.
Convert at least 70% of incoming telephone inquiries to appointments for club tours.
Enroll at least 80% of all touring prospects.
Schedule at least 60% of all new members for a Complimentary Success Session with appropriate Fitness Department staff.
Ensure all prospect/guest information is entered into the club management software system and complete all required tracking forms and processes.
Ensure the club is maintained immaculately.
Oversee the retention strategy and systems.
Qualifications
Ability to consistently generate new club memberships by contacting leads generated through marketing activities, generating referral leads from the current membership base, and engaging club tours for walk-ins.
Ability to quickly identify potential members needs and use solution-selling techniques to build value in our clubs amenities and services to the member and close the sale.
Ability to thrive in a competitive sales position while maintaining a cohesive team environment.
Ability to meet challenging monthly quotas and demonstrate production excellence within 30 days of starting.
