General Manager Trainee Responsibilities:
Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment

Produce approved budget and operate under established guidelines in regard to costs, expenses, sales, and profit for Food and Beverage Department.
Develop, institute, and maintain control of procedures to ensure consistency.
Take immediate action on problems that are encountered in the Food and Beverage Department.
Handles or assists with any guest related concerns and complaints, as well as coordinates the follow up on those complaints.
Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork when providing guest service.

Ensure efficient operation of Food and Beverage functions by coordinating and providing work direction for personnel (both servers and supervisors).
Provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
Supervise, guide, schedule, train and evaluate all Food & Beverage associates.
Implement and maintain the highest standards in the areas of appearance and service of all staff by establishing, directing and reviewing performance standards.
Provide disciplinary action of staff when, and if, necessary.
Provide associates with the necessary tools and equipment they need to perform their job.
Hold pre-function briefing to determine specifications of each function.
Ensure quality service by assigning employees and supervisors to specific functions.

What you will be doing:
Responsible for the execution of the dining room and creating a great guest experience
Engaging with the Front of house staff to drive sales and selling the feature of the day.
Handling any guest complaints from the dining room or carry out areas.
Handling reservations and catering orders. Communicating these events with the kitchen and carry out manager.
Developing staff into trainers and hopefully one day managers for other locations!
Among other duties
Who we are looking for:
Has at least 2 years of restaurantmanagement experience
College degree is preferred but not required. High school degree is sufficient if you have leadership experience!
Extremely friendly, polite and a people person who has attention to detail.
Great communication skills that will help the staff to understand daily expectations to meet various goals.
Ability to coach and develop a diverse staff and handle in the moment coaching events in a stressful environment in a professional manner.
Pre-employment Requirement:
Must consent to a background check
Must be able to obtain Servesafe Manager Certification
Must be able to obtain Basset Certification within 30 days of hire
Must be able to obtain Allergen Certification within 30 days of hire
Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
Physical Requirements:
An average work week will be 40+ hours
Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Lift, load and carry up to 40 pounds.
Work with hot and cold food items.
