Chickie's & Pete's is a full-service bar and restaurant located within PPL Center, serving lunch Tuesday through Friday and open for events.
Responsibilities
Follow all Chickie's & Pete's service, operational, and company standards
Provide support to General Manager in daily operations of the restaurant
Ensures team members maintain knowledge of the menu and any specials being offered. Provides updates of any changes to the menu.
Supervises the team in maintaining a clean and presentable work area. Ensures the venues are stocked and prepared for service at all times
Complies and ensures compliance with liquor laws regarding alcohol service where applicable
Complies with all departmental food and franchise contractual agreements
Perform POS duties in regards to voids, comps, splitting checks, gratuities
Coordinates in troubleshooting technical problems with Point of Sale (POS) system, facilities, equipment etc., and contacts for appropriate support, as necessary
Provides on-going supervision and mentoring to team members
Monitors product quality and ensures high level of guest service
Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need

Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service
Communicate with customers through a variety of means about our products and our product philosophy. Shuttle, e-news, web site, social media.

Product Management and Purchasing

Work with vendors directly to source product and navigate supply issues for the department
Staff Supervision
Supervise and manage department staff, establish work schedules, performance standards, training programs, etc. to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, freshness, shrink level, displays, customer service, and related processes for multiple Weavers Way Fresh Foods departments.
Ensure department staff are trained and accountable for department policies and procedures and achieving department standards; acts as a role model for staff through professional conduct.
Supervise, train, review, and develop team members in accordance with company policies and procedures; administer and document corrective actions.
Site Safety
Create and maintain a safe environment for team members and customers.
Ensure that department facilities including shelves, displays, equipment, work, and storage areas are clean, function well, are orderly, efficient, and meet health department standards.
Ensure standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, productivity, and waste management. Ensure current food handler and other related certificates are maintained for department employees as required.
Ensure compliance with all county, state, and federal laws, standards, and practices.
Marketing and Merchandising
Ensure department is merchandised in accordance with the needs of the community; maintain shelf allocations to ensure the availability of products at all times.
Some Marketing related responsibilities, including writing occasional Shuttle columns, promoting through social media, arranging for product demos and samples, and creating effective department signage.
Organize monthly promotional features and holiday offerings.

Job Responsibilities
? Delivers strong operational performance by executing against Aramark Healthcare+ and regulatory agency standards and programs, continually monitoring operations, and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide optimal food quality and meal service, and drive patient and customer satisfaction.
? Ensures compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
? Coordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor management and employee training.
? Recruits, hires, develops and retains front line team.

? Directs, staffs, and trains food service department regarding food presentation, quality, cost control, and cash handling.
? Develops operational component forecasts and is able to explain variances. Responsible for component?s accounting functions.
? Ensures compliance with all contract obligations.

Qualifications

* Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
* Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage Department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
* Clearly describe, assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage sub-departments, e.g. room service, restaurants, banquets, kitchens, steward, etc.
* Develop, implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all food and beverage sub-departments to achieve a profitable result.
* Participate with Food and Beverage managers in the creation of menus designed to attract a predetermined customer market.
* Implement effective control of food, beverage and labor costs among all sub-departments to Crescent standards.
* Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
* Assist managers in establishing and achieving predetermined profit objectives and desired standards of quality food, service, cleanliness, merchandising and promotion.
* Regularly review and evaluate the degree of guest satisfaction of the individual restaurants and banquet service, to recommend new operating and marketing policies whenever declining or constant sales imply dissatisfaction by the customers, a material change in the make-up or the customer market, or a change in the competitive environment.
* Develop operating tools necessary and incidental to modern management principles, e.g. budgeting, forecasting purchase specifications, recipes, portion specifications, menu abstracts, food production control etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in F&B Operations, with at least 5 years in management.
* Must have various experience levels in volume feeding, ala carte, fine dining, catering and purchasing storage and handling.
* Demonstrated and verifiable experience in budgeting and meeting projected costs.
* Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
* Maintains a current Food Handler's card and alcohol service permit if required by state or local government.
* Working knowledge of employee scheduling in a hospitality environment.
* Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Well skilled in all technical and sanitary aspects of food preparation and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business or a related field.
* Ability to supervise kitchen staff.
